lay of land

why is my lay of land quest start counting backwords? i was nearly to 55 now it is at 36????
anyone here who has the same problem??

This achievement is based on how many you have discovered at the same time - to activate the achievement you need to have 55 deposits discovered at the same time. Depleted mines/exhausted deposits do not count towards the achievement which is why you see your counter go down and only represents your current state.
