So I looked through the epic shop and once you have the fairy castle that produces stalks at some point there is nothing left to buy.
I did see a suggestion to make the FT castle also give population (not per hour but a flat amount), but why not add some nice things from the gemshop to it. Like allow people to buy a single Endless Coppermine for beanstalks. Set it at 20K and they have something to save up for.
Basically increase the things you can buy with beanstalks to make the FT castle interesting again. You could even rotate it as with the guildsection in the shop.

200k would be a more realistic figure

well... it seems like you havent looked thoroughly enough. :) there is magnificent residence that holds 500 pop. start replacing FM and nobles with that and you wont have pop issues :)

MR (t-shape 4 buildspots) = 500 pop, 4 FM's = 560 pop, why on earth would you want to replace FM's with MR's?

lol no it would not.

20k also wouldnt as Gems are way more worth than beans/beanstalks...

@Gubbie. The Fairy Tail castle produces beanstalks not beans. The MR can be bought with beans not stalks so your point is moot.
@Matie2506: Epic woodyard:5K gems in Architect or 5K Beans in Epic section. So how the gems more valuable? Do enlighten me.

On newfoundland gems have a value of around 30-40coins each, beans around 17-18coins each beanstalks 20+ coins each

@Brayarg: That may be so, but the conversion rate for beans VS gems is 1:1 if I look at those 2 buildings. So BB values Beans at the exact same as Gems, that players do not is irrelevant for the cost of new items in the Epic section. That cost is derived from the value that BB considers an item to be.

Looking at one example within a game does not always paint a complete picture, there are always many inconsistences as far as BB are concerned. A great example of a recent inconsistence would be Halloween event, where event loot dropping adventures cost more than buying the pumpkins (both directly from the merchant).

BB place zero thought and care in to valuing things within this game. To testament this my bread chain is worth close to nothing at this moment in time. small oversight? or laughable?

An odd direction with how buildings were released and loot adjusted. But a fair point:

I no longer bother turning bread into settlers as I make 696 settlers/day from schools & mayor's house (and that is without any buffs): Plus the settlers I get as loot (with premium) is keeping me at max except when I decide to go full throttle on fairy tale adventures. (Even doing 2/3 bandit's nest a day is not enough to dent things).

Sadly this means my very large (10x bakery) chain is idle (storage full). I suppose I could destroy them all and reclaim the land :P
