View Full Version : Home page wont load?
I was in game and it had a message saying chat server disconnected or something so I refreshed the page and click play now.
It wont load at all, it's just a brown screen, I have turned off AdBlock, cleared my cache/cookies etc and tried 2 other browsers, is this the same for everyone or just me?

I always get the screen not loading after pressing play now button. I just press refresh button and Im in

Same, even if I press contact us on this forum it brings up the same page, can't even load the homepage.

you cant get to My Profile on Home page? Im asking because you have though managed to get on the forum, so Im confused,,,

Only other thing is to flush DNS

Yeah I got to the forums through typing settlers online forum on Google, even some links at the bottom of this forum bring up the same page, this error happened not long after buying diamonds but I noticed that in chat it said the chat server had problems/disconnected or something and I refreshed to see if it would fix the chat and then this problem came, messaged support now will need to wait until tomorrow, hopefully I will be able to login at work tomorrow morning so I wont lose my calendar stuff but that wont help me the weekend.

This could have nothing to do with the promlem but can you see/load this image? If not then there is something wrong with the content delivery network that is used to provide content to the web site.

worked 15 mins before - had to log - then when logging in Again it didnt Work..

This is interesting because another person earlier posted he can not log in right after buying gems.
could be a cache issue, clear it. or try another browser.
unless you installed an extension recently i doubt it's that but you'll find them in settings. same for clear cache.
still cant log in sice 2pm today and im a bit concerned as granite pit is getting low grrrrrrrr

Not been able to log in since around 3pm uk time. I also bought some gems today. I login and just get a brownish/redish blank screen as someone has posted above. Gone through all the cache clean etc etc etc tried various browsers and different machines but no joy.

Exactly the same for me just bought some Gems before...
What is happening?????? Nothing, how can they make a new release and don't have any support, to see if it works or not. I´m very very very surprised and disappointed.

its the same for me but doesnt sound like BB is going to fix it would be nice if sombody starts to answer us this is totally wrong sombody in BB need to answer us now not in another 1 month
Yup, mine was working until about 20 mins ago, bought some gems, and bang, the same problem. Grrrrrrrrrr............

Nope I get the same. Can't log in. Brown screen go in to log in through profile andI am logged in so I can't do anything. Grrrr
ok almost 24 hours later and i hoped the 2am script would sort this, but it seems ive still got no chance on sorting this, and my rediculously expensive granite pit is gonna be gone grrrrrr. i really hope BB sort this soon, another bugged event and problems that shouldn't happen.
Make me more angry that not have any support when start an new event, soooooo stupid of BB thinking all software are clean and works 100%. From what universe are they born?
Yep im another one with the same issue brown or white screen just brought gems, Cleared all caches uninstalled programs tryed other browsers and no joy. Come on BB what give i would hate to loose 2 years worth of bucks and gaming time :(
The problem is being looked into right now. Thank you for your reports and screen shots as they allowed us to get a better idea of what is happening and that means the issue will be sorted faster.

Ok I contacted them in the game support (with another account, since I couldn't contact them with this account), sent them my transaction ID, and now the page works.
Can you try to get in now and let me know if the problem persists?

Yes I agree -- now I know what an island abandoned for 20 hours looks like :( Mines depleted (including upgraded gold :( ) all fields gone marble stopped :( most wells depleted - resources used up so all in all quite a long time to rebuild

I'm back in, lost 12 hours prem though and like others production messed up
We are GEM-Buyers and only we get this problem, so if they not want to give us REAL gifts its not good
I am back also, lost loads of my quarrys etc etc and time for getting presents....
It appears the issue is fixed for everyone. If you didn't already put in a support ticket about this, please do so as we need to be aware of the affected users.

I can't send ticket to support right now, because i have forgotten the password to my e-mail account… but the play wont work in Firefox browser (newest version 34.0.5 in use). This is how the starting page looks like (see the attachment):
