Cannon damage error

There seems to be an error with the battles, in particular the damage caused by the cannons is very variable, some times they do the typical damage and other times they are ineffectual.
I've lost over 400 cannons in several attacks because the outcome is way different that predicted/ simulated. Strongly suggest others avoid using cannons in battles until this bug is sorted.

It would be helpful if you gave an example of which camp you attacked and and setup you used.
Maybe also let us know which simulator you used.
I do almost all my attacks with cannons and so far the results haven't surprised me a bit (except due to my own errors in loading troops into my general)

Couple of examples from my battle reports:

60 royal longbow + 50 royal militre vs 109R+1ES+130K+10C = 1st round loss with 59 royal longbow and 32 royal miltre remaining

50 bear + 80 wolf vs 129R+1ES+140K = 3rd round loss with 27 wolf remaining

Royal longbowmen and bears have splash damage now, nothing wrong with that outcome..perhaps you were using old combat sim and not an updated one? Check corona88 guide for VLT and you will see.

yep, both those are correct according to the simulator. The troops you used will result in a loss.
You are aware that since the 25th November, the fairytale adventures have been changed? Some troops now have splash damage such as the bear, royal militia and royal longbows you are having trouble with. I suggest you look at the new guides that have been written for the fairytales by corona88, polymer and fhearghus. as others have said fairytales were updated. probably did 10 of them without any issue, use the new simulator/guides.
