Granite conversion

In each of the previous Christmas events, the facility to use presents to convert marble into granite in PH has always stayed until the final removal of the Event (and sometimes persisted even after that).
However, this year it has been removed in Phase 1, which was not indicated in the Div Diary.
I was waiting to see how many presents were available before using this, but it's been taken away too early. :(

Oh well, guess another nail in the coffin, BB seem not to care at all now how broken game has got.
Why run an event then take away one of the uses for the presents prematurely?
Not content with messing about with what worked, then trying to force unwanted and untested rubbish on us, they break the basic game mechanics and can't even be bothered to acknowledge bug reports or feedback.
So sad, all the things that made Settlers stick out from everything else out there has gone, and having spent good money buying a year's premium only to see it rendered worthless after 7 months is quite frankly disgusting.
If you're trying to kill the game off, just be honest and say so. Stop running it into the ground until everybody ups and leaves.
