NEW.. PVP Leaderboard - coming this summer !

That is what I hope to see in the next Dev Diary.

Currently PVP doesn't really feel like PVP but a leaderboard I think will definitely help , showing the top 100 in our own server and top 100 throughout ALL servers - that will be really cool. How can this be done ? by calculating all valour points won in player v player colony battles. Has this been suggested before ... probably but I think if we don't keep asking for things it will never get done ( eg barracks now being able to queue more than 25 troops at a time - great improvement ).

What do you think ladies and gentlemen - worth having ?

I doubt it will ever happen. It was requested few times in pvp beta and they did not want to add it. They even removed all names from colony islands afterward so it would feel less competitive (stressful) for people (in closed you saw player and guildname).

Would love to see some facts of PvP usage 1st... Nobody I speak to even bothers with it....
Kinda pointless it feels for the 10% players who do PvP

As long it shows a tally of resources used, so that I can point and laugh at the totals invested by players at the top, then I'm all for it! ;)

If BB are so against individual names being shown which I think is a real shame why not at least show Guild Names. A guild can be 1 or a family etc. A bit of healthy competition is a good lesson for all from toddler to the older generation. Giving up all good ideas because a few MIGHT take advantage is the fastest way to kill a game I think.

So a definite +1 for a leaderboard.

Who wants a bunch of statistics which could only possibly prove who the biggest loser in game is and nothing else.

Until they develop proper pvp any such leader-board show nothing but meaningless spin.
