exploreer search bug?

i have tried send my explorers on thier normal artifact search but they return within like 5mins?....have tried several time to send but same thing every time....do i take it BB have banned artifact search while we have yt another buggged special week?....
yet again dev's just prove thier are not up to the job of doing anything right :(

now even though my scout are sitting in my menu....i keep getting the sound of them returning and icons on screen...what the hell is going on here!!!!!
after 20mins of getting constant explorer returning sound and icons all over my screen i have been forced to send them on medium search....great job once again BB.....succeed in making this game worse yet again.....

ok this is beyond a joke.....even on medium search my 5 scouts are still coming back after i switch zone.....how am i meant to play with constant exporer sound and icons on my screen every minute!!!! pls fix this asap....

So the same bugs as the last time they had an explorer event. They really never do learn.

Many posts about the same issue, and it doesn't affect me or my wife or my friend all of us playing from New Zealand (not sure if all three on the same ISP but very different equipment and overall configurations).
I wonder what variable is involved - because the special events (specialists, barracks, etc.) have not had any negative effects that I have seen.

I had a similar thing with my Barracks yesterday. I had about 15 hours of troops queued. I came back to my island and suddenly I got spammed with "Your trained units are ready for duty" over and over again. I opened the barracks and each stack of 25 troops was finishing in about 2 seconds. The count would be 0/25, the bar would zip across once and then the whole stack would be finished. I watched my entire barracks queue empty in about a minute. I could see that the completed troops were in my unassigned units too. I relogged thinking it was a sync issue and as soon as my island loaded exactly the same thing happened again with the troops ready spam and the effect in the barracks. I was able to load the troops I had trained onto generals and send them out to a fairytale adventure. The next time I visited my island a few minutes later, I didn't get the spam but my barracks queue was empty and the previously queued troops were still ready for use.
