Hi,

As most of us probabely know. When playing scenario's its very important not to rush and do stuff before you were issued the quest to do so. Last night I wasn't paying attention and got stuck on my Riches of the Mountain scenario coz I used the buildings buffs (3 masons, 1 tavern and 1 store) before I was given the quest to do so. Then, when the quest was issued it wouldn't complete, even though I had the required buildings.

Nothing new there you'd say, but I managed to get it unstuck and thought it nice to share my findings.

Here's what to do to get it unstuck again

1. Go back to your map
2. Make another set of buffs in the (rarity)provision house. Yes this will cost you 100 granite :(
3. Go back to the scenario
4. Drop 1 mason buff on the still epmty buildingslot
5 Dropt the other 2 mason buffs on the buildingslots that hold the tavern and the storehouse. The existing buildings will turn into masons now.
6. Drop the tavern and storebuff on any of the already exisiting masons.

Summary: you can rebuild bildings by dropping them on slots that have a different kind of buildings on them. Mason on mason doesn't work nor does tavern on tavern and storehouse on storehouse.

Now I also rushed ahead and dropped a buff that required collectibles to make (to blow up the mountain). Fortunately that quest autocompleted once it was issued. Had that not been the case I would have been stuck still, coz I would'nt have been able to refind the collectibles needed to make the buff.

I've tried "Riches of The Mountain" besides the fact that it was out of curiocity, i also got stuck, can't remember exactly when, but what i wondered mostly about, was the fact that we have the ability to destroy mountains on our home island, however, only way i can see that that would be possible, would be to use gems... Any Input on this subject would be very appreciated

The 'blow up mountain feature' on the home map has nothing to do with this scenario. Would be very cool though if we could produce buffs to blow up mountains on the home map, just like in this scenario though. Coz yes, the buffs to destruct mountains on the home map are only availlable for gems.

I'm stuck too - and am going to report it. During the phase to remove the sabotage building the interface is very unclear and I thought I was supposed to use 1 specialist and one water splash. But then after that it needed 10 more water splashes which require 10 buckets found on the island, and one had been used before, so I didn't have enough for the 10 additional splashes. The scenario is very badly written, very unclear at points and you need a lot of gunpowder (I counted up to 650 but I wasn't done yet - there is another 500 needed?) and since I've spent a lot to get to this point (I had to buy some gunpowder) I'm quite annoyed. Be very careful about choosing this scenario, make sure you have lots of gunpowder on hand, and follow the steps with extreme caution.

There is something very wrong with the way the scenario is written. I have had to cancel the scenario twice this afternoon.

On the first run thru my water splashes got eaten by something on the sabotage camp leaving not enough to complete. You cannot rebuild as you only get the "necessary" number of collectibles to make the water splashes and once used .... It also ate one specialist when it should not have done but I could rebuild that one as it does not need collectible.

On the second run thru it managed to eat a total of 4 small explosives in the process of destroying only two of the targets. Again these could not be rebuilt as they required collectibles to produce which has already been collected.

Its something to do with delay involved in throwing up the silly information windows but exactly what I don't know.

Ah, it took some time but now you truly are a TSO player. Welcome brother!

This scenario still seems to be broken. Nowhere could I find a miners post to put the two food provisions on... still had an empty building space but had completed the tavern warehouse and masons bit. Beats me...

The tavern, warehouse and masons are the mining post... buff two of those five buildings to complete 'Miner Catering'.

Water splashes can be used on both the Foul Provision pack and the Drunken Miners (between which there are 11 in total). You make up the extra one either by using a Specialist on the provisions or with a Glue Pot on a miner, or you can use extra Explosives on a miner if you want to use even more gunpowder.

I agree, though, that the interface for the sabotage camp takes some getting used to.

I finally have the hang of it now and I think the wiki guide is accurate - just follow those steps in the right order.
