first, you are trying to use the shotfirer in the wrong place, they can only be used on certain rocks and rubble, that will highlight on your island:

and the hunter issue, are you sure the hunter is near a meat deposit, and does it have meat in it? If it is empty, you can make refills in the provision house.

ah, didn't see the link. I would try moving the hunter, see if it works if placed elsewhere, or even demolish it and rebuild. Are other hunters working?

thats the problem deposit is in s7, hunter in s4, he wont go into s7 to collect from deposit if you dont have storehouse to claim s7 first

Hi! I also can't use my shotfirer buffer on my home island, the detonator icon just not "live".
I can't place neither on rocks neither on rubbles... What can I do?

You can onlyh use shotfirer in sectors you have claimed with a storehouse .
