Geologist Weeks - Gold deposit

My geologists have returned after finding a gold deposit that doesn't seem to be any larger than usual. The info text says the deposit should be 10% bigger, but it's 300, just like the ones not found during the Specialist week.

mine are at 330 - so it works with gold mines for me.

Maybe you logged out after sending him? Wasn't that the bug during the last specialist week?

Verified as a bug on my island. My geologists have skills that mean the geologists usually find a deposit of 401 gold. During the extra 10% time (the star was present on the geo both when he left for his search, and after he had returned), that 401 increased to 402. Last time I checked that wasn't 10%.

I have 4 geos that are skilled in this way ("Natural Gold Vein" - discover 8% + 8% + 8% = 24% bigger gold deposits, and ""Natural Born Digger" - discover 8% bigger deposits). All 4 were sent at the same time, all 4 found deposits of 402.

Yes, I did log out after sending them, but since the 10% bonus was still in effect when I logged in the next morning, that shouldn't be an issue. The copper and iron mines are working as expected.

Pretty annoying since I burnt down my mines before they were in single digits to take advantage of the anticipated 441 I was expecting the geo to find.

it happens randomly for me with iron mines. about 50% of the time I get the extra 10%.

As FishSmell said: if you are not online at the time when the deposit should be discovered then 10% bonus fail.

Some mines have more base resource than others (some 500, some 550), maybe that's what you are seeing?

I have been getting increased deposits whilst logged in with no problem.
Geo searches that ran whilst I was offline during maintenance failed to apply the bonus.

I can confirm. The bonus is not applied if the zone shuts down. If a player logs out and noone visits their island for approx. 30 min, the zone will shut down and the 10% bonus will be lost.

This issue should be fixed within the current game version. Please let me know if the issue persists.

However, I can confirm I had 2 geologists searching for iron mines when maintenance kicked in this morning and when I logged on afterwards the bonus had been applied.

The Geologist Weeks have been improved and will be extended by 1 week.
Improvements: Zone shutdowns are not affecting the 10% bonus anymore
