I normally use slow Generals to block, and they always work well. But when I use Major or Battle Hardened Generals to block instead, they always finish the battle faster, thus, the blocking failed.

All of them have damage: 120-120, accuracy: 80%. They should be equal. What makes Major and Battle Hardened Generals finish battle faster than slow Generals?

They finish sooner because as fast generals they fight faster. It's in their description in the chest.

Sorry, but I cannot find any line in the description saying that they fight faster than the slow generals. If this is true, the developers, please add one more line to the description "Fight (or finish a battle) twice as quickly."

All fast generals battle twice as fast, for blocks you need to use always Normal generals. If you look at guides you'll see on them usually says Normal Gen.

I believe I directed "The Settlers Online" teams attention to that fact over 2 years ago. So far no response.
