We have completed our guild quest but it is failing to complete and make the waiting quest active:

http://prntscr.com/8d6m9s

We had been stuck on 35/36 for a while so removed one from guild to make number required less etc, ie, 35/35, would this be the issue?

Suggestions on a postcard to aghhhhh-silly-quest.help

There has been a bug going round the guilds, the guild quest shows as complete ie. 35/35, but it doesn't end and reward can't be collected. The only known fix to this is to get 1 more guildy to do the gq, so one of the ones who has not done it so far. Or, wait for a gq reset during maint (these happen every 2 weeks).

We used to occasionally kick one slacker if we were just 1 left on GQ with a reset imminent... worked fine to get the quest completed for us... that was at least 6 months ago though.

We managed to get one more to do the gq and woohoo it completed. Thx for all inputs. Seems to boot someone and re-invite method doesn't work anymore maybe.

This bug has nothing to do with the booting of anyone, it happens to many guilds who do gq as normal. My guild has had it many times, and we never boot anyone to complete gq. The quest just seems to stick sometimes on completion.

It's a recent bug that hapens sometimes. Having 1 more do the GQ will end it.

Our guild quest is stuck on the sparkly stage. It says 25/25 completed if you hover over the bar, and it's sparkling as if it was about to complete, but even after a refresh, it's not getting any further.

I have noticed if you click on members tab and tally up on who has completed a difference of one from the quest completion bar can been seen from time to time.

I have noticed if you click on members tab and tally up on who has completed a difference of one from the quest completion bar can been seen from time to time.

I think that's because what you see in members tab is a bit slow in updating and depends on what info has been synchronized with that particular member (eg a longtime inactive member will still show a started adv), while what you see in the completion bar is actually info from server.

If it was within the 20 min server resync timeframe then I would accept your explanation, however when said situation persits for up to 2 days I can't help but feel that this can not be the case.

As for longterm inactives showing adventures I would say it's their failure to log in which has allowed the adventure to show as not timed out in the normal manner. When however longterm inactives (by which I mean no log in for 6 months or more) suddenly appear to have a open guild quest despite no sign of actual log in flipping their status to active then something is obviously not working as intended.

we had same problem. Guild quest completed one afternoon, but we still could not finish next day. The quest was not finished un til one more member did the quest.
We could have waited indefinitely and it would not have been done, if we had no more members.
