For the love of God, it's 33 minutes past 10 GMT , turn the damn servers on or put a damn update notice.
Since there is no point from turning servers on with crashes and bugs things will be worst (actually they might be on but disconnected from public domain)
So just need any update,.

Why do BB never put a update up after they over-run. Trying to get one is like getting blood out of stone. Just be truthful with people and if you dont know when it will be online then tell people instaed of them hanging around like lemons.
I feel for everyone concerning daily bonuses, special mines, important buffs. There's not much we can do unfortunately, and yes - we are all in the same boat for such things.. I'm just going to keep trying when it's lunch time (about an hour)

was last attack on blt. i was need only 1 min. that situation which i have can cause zone error on adventures. that is my biggest problem now
1 hour and 9 mins and i will have lost my daily log in bonus. 1 hour and 10 mins i will have lost my sanity lol. I think bb should give us a 200% gem sale rather then the usual 100% extra, mind you being able to log in to buy gems might be a problem.

I think they should roll the whole thing back to before maintenance and do more than a 2 - 3 week test of a major change, but that would require one to actually use a brain cell or two rather than just try and throw things up to suck more money out of players.

Game was live 2-3 hours i think with the new version, before totally crashing.
Just erase the last 2-3 hours of gameplay, and put us in previous state.
Do some serious testing, then put it online.
Its not a beta version anymore, hey this is worse than a closed alpha!

Err, the same update was inflicted on the French servers last week, and none of this happened.
Besides which, they've had ample time to absorb a lot of the issues with this update but have ignored the feedback on test server and most of us can no longer test it there anyway as the Halloween event killed our accounts.

When the game was in BETA stage, this stuff happened all the time, I can understand that, as the game was in BETA stage.
Can't remember when BETA ended (maybe 1-2 years ago?), However, I remember thinking that it ended too soon as it was still pretty buggy. Although, I did think, gotta give BB a chance, perhaps they have sorted the issues and all bugs will stop when it goes 'LIVE'.
'LIVE' started............. Guess what? Still buggy, still problems with updates. Still problems that where there during the BETA stage.
Since then we have had numerous updates, mixed with (you guessed it) numerous bugs!
I am not saying this is unforgivable, as clearly it is not, we are all still here playing (or trying to!)
The problem for me is that online gaming, as much as it is fun, it is more of an addiction, so not getting online is frustrating and then some........
How do we know the Devs are working very hard to fix it???? We are now outside office hours! We know they disappear over the weekend and don't come back until Monday. How do we know they are still working? An update can be posted from anywhere! (Not saying this is the case, just speculation).
If it needs fixing, it needs fixing, that's a fair shout in my opinion, but I think the updates could be more regular and more informative,
I would rather have an update that says - ' Haven't a clue what is wrong, and less of clue how long it will take to fix it'
than - 'It will be working at xx:xx' only to find that it isn't.

Well I have had a very productive day on the French server with new game content behaving well with no bugs at all. Shame that the UK & US servers can't benefit
Pretty sure there will also be a happy hour for gems. Of course they'll need to pay the team overtime for solving the issue. So we're not only waiting until it's fixed, we're also paying them for their time they're working on it, lol!

A couple of days ago, somebody asked in a different thread whether they would be able to get a second Major General, and a reply was that on the FRENCH servers, he had been available for a week.
This implies that it is only the EU servers that are having this major problem which is preventing us all from playing.
If this is the case, WHY? Surely, if the game works on other servers it should work on the UK servers... if not, BUY SOME NEW SERVERS... or hire some staff who can fix it.

I don't see the point in people getting all worked up over this, the game is rarely down. If we have to take a bit of pain to get new content then so be it. These things happen and BB are working on it so in my opinion lets see some appreciation for the work that they do rather than slating them.

The Us server is not right either... I have not checked them all, but the German server maintenance is soon, so that's a wait and see. Whats done is done, this cant be changed. But can we at least get an ETA that makes some sense, BB you have people that would probably go to bed if you just updated the ETA with a accurate/realistic time.. telling me that the server will be only 2 hours ago is about as much use as an ashtray on a motorcycle

People can only report on the information they are given or what they hope, they can't see into the future, they can only give you the best estimates they have. If they said it will be tomorrow would you be any happier?

It's not about the bugs, it's about the overload I think. They need to rent extra server power probably.

I don't know, but why wouldn't it?
Servers shouldn't get overloaded. There are several preventions for this (eg login queue); of course an issue can occur among them.

I appreciate the work being done, but I would rather a 'get yourself to bed, it won't be fixed until tomorrow' response, than a, 'yeah, umm, think it might be fixed soon, hopefully' response.
I am happy to stay up if it is gonna get fixed, but if it isn't just let us know.
MORE FREQUENT AND MORE INFORMATIVE UPDATES would be appreciated, instead of the not so frequent, vague ones!

So we sit here waiting... if it said servers will not be online until 06:00, then yes, I would accept that as the situation and have gone to bed 2 hours ago ;)

Well I'm thankful I was able to play and get my login early this morning, And upgrade most buildings :) But I understand there's barely 2 hrs left for most to get their login bonus. The thing is when they compensate everyone gets it which I think is wrong. Maybe give a 100 gem reward to everyone who missed a login.

That comes and goes for me, normally (fortunately) it isn't that often. It's the worse when the wife and I are on the same adventure - something seems confused by the orders to the generals (troop counts) especially. It acts to me like my computer is waiting on some kind acknowledgement and doesn't get it. I normally just cancel the window and do the action again and that often solves it - for that instance. It's just as likely to do it again it seems.
Finally managed to log in today. Lost my daily bonus?? Not my fault I couldn't get on yesterday.

the funny fact here, they restarted the server for 30 minutes, and then modified it for 1 hour, and this 1 hour is done and its 10 minutes after the deadline.
I just hope this will fix the lags and bugs and issues of today, maybe they add a node to cluster to hold load? maybe.
its been a hour I want my game back come on withdrawal symptoms was bad yesterday don't want to go through that again ..a care package would be nice with stalks to say sorry for all the lost time

well I met a problem today already on the quest line. I reported it, but I doubt they have restarted just for that...
However, I will take a deep breath and hope that they really want to sort issues out early rather than let them fester...
It started a bit late, so can be expected to run until a bit late I guess.
Between yesterday and today I think we are all in danger of wearing out that [Play Now] button though.
I think we all need to buy some gems so BB can buy a clock, that way maybe they can actually keep to the schedule they post with down time :p

I cant see how they could honestly dictate a fix time? I do see many posts ASKING them for this info.
So now they are between a rock and a hard place.. I say cut them some slack. They are trying to inform us, but can never be accurate..

Are they running Windows XP as a server? If so, a restart might take a lot longer than an hour ;)
Got to be more than just a restart really... a *nix box, even with file hash check and running unit tests, shouldn't take that long.
Aprox 1 hour is 90 minutes for you guys ?

What! back up you say but I was catching up with my back catalog of recorded films,
I am still getting a zone failed message when moving from home island to adventure, and then crashing. Have been unable to get back to adventure island since last night (about 10 or 11 hours). Husband has same issue.
