Can no longer cancel the Guild Quest [Archive]

Tried and tried to cancel GQ, it disappears from my Q log, but remains for everyone in guild and nothing changes in guild list...shows as active for everyone. When I refresh, it is back in my Q book.

Same here, has been cancelled by 3 officers, doesn't go for anyone else and comes back for the person trying to cancel it when they refresh - we wont be paying 40 carriages for a few coins!!

My guild quest keeps flashing that it is finishing, pop up message appear over and over, with quest completed. As I am not going to pay 20 cannon it is not going to be, so it is very annoying. I accidental tried to delete it,- but can confirm that you cant.

Ok, waited for the gq to become active and we still cannot cancel it. As a result we will have the same guild quest for the next 2 weeks - 40 carriages for just over 100 guild coins? I think not....

I tried to (disable & re-) enable "cancel guild quest permission" for the (those) rank(s), but no workaround there..

I'd rather have that (carriages are made of wood and iron - inexpensive resources) than paying 40 cannons (our waiting GQ I'd like to cancel).

Guild note currently reads "Can't cancel GQs at the mo' so we're stuck with what we get for now. *No* pressure though, we'll just see how it goes."

Sorry, but they can't fix a bug. They can offend customers and sometimes (only sometimes) they do temporary solve an issue.

I sent a ticket to support the moment we saw this happening - last Tuesday/Wednesday. I still wait for a reply from support, not even had the automated 'we are looking into it' mail.

We have now had a weekly maintenance and the bug is still there, or maybe it is a design feature? Interestingly since this started occurring our gq's have all been ones we cancel involving paying away expensive resources for a few guild coins, hmmm.

Maybe its an improvement like the quatermaster and simply you cant cancel a quest no more.

my alliance guild quest wont cancel, and now we cant complete them. they are pretty simple so we tried and it is like the game is ignoring us :-)

anyone noticed a bug also with abandoning guild quests? I tried abandoning one for three days now, but it works like this:
- the quest is removed from the list
- the awating guild quest doesn't become an active one
- after relog the previously deleted guild quest is again as active and pending is also as it was:-S

Trying to cancel both also doesn't change this behaviour...

Please solve this fast!
Our first quest after the maintenance was the donate cannon quest. This mean we will not have any other guild quests for a week, we have to wait for next maintenance because we cant delete it. Please fix this.

It will be 2 weeks as they only reset the GQ once a fortnight.

This issue started when the XXXL maintenance took place 2 weeks ago and was reported back then.

After the guild quest reset, we all got the 100gcc, but still seem to have exactly the same guild quest, with the same number of people listed as having finished it.

Could be just coincidence. Anyone else got this?

If so, what does it say when even BB can't cancel guild quests...

Getting the same problem, cancel the broken wagons quest 5 times and it reappears shortly after and eventually refuses to be cancelled. had to sit for a week until reset before we could do quests again, just cancelled it from waiting quests, no doubt it will force itself upon us anyway.

Ater the rest we got the same GQ as before the reset (pay wheels).
This time we decided to complete it.
Guess what we have as waiting quest for tomorrow? - Same again.

Ok, rather wheels than cannons but it must be possible to delete GQ's again soon.

Wanted to find out if anything is being done to resolve this issue. The guild shop changes in 10 days time but has been no news on fixing this problem. BB can we have some input as to as possible fix date please?
