While I'm sure a lot of these suggestions have been made already, it doesn't hurt re-iterating.
Some would be big improvements, others would add consistency

Star menu


A Textual Search/Filter box at the top of the star menu window.
A Stack All button which stacks all similar items right on top of each other. Resources, adventures, deposits, buffs, everything that is stackable.
A Split Option once you click on a stack. Shows a simple numeric up/down with a numerical edit box to split off anything stacked.
Context driven secondary options. If it's an adventure, add Start Adventure, if it's resources/buffs/deposits add Pick up or Use.



Adventures


Make the Return Home option on the context menu of active adventures only appear on the adventure currently loaded. (ie. remove it from the adventure B context menu if you are currently loaded in adventure A)
Unload All button to unload all troops from all idle generals
Add option to turn off the hover-over and go back to old-style click+ show window of troops (current popup is super annoying!)
Option to cancel outstanding adventure invites (ie invites that have not been accepted yet)
Show target of attacking friendly general (show swords on its target just like own generals)
Show time to arrival of friendly generals heading to the adventure.


Generals


Make the Master of Defense worth its salt, by forcing all hostile units to first bring down the MoD's HP to 1 before attacking other units. This includes hostile units with First Strike and Attack Weakest skills.
Make the Master of Defense's HP pool variable depending on what unit is placed into it. 5000 for "normal" units and some 15.000 to 20.000 if an Elite unit is assigned to it. This would make it viable for new adventures too.
Add a special ability to Lord Dracul. At this time it's just a first strike BHG at worst, or a much weaker MMA at best. Perhaps something that adds hostile killed units to your own army? Or a "life" leech where any damage Lord Dracul is added to its HP pool (ie. it has 999 hp at the start, it deals 333 damage in first round. Its new HP is now 1332)
Allow generals/marshalls to land, be loaded/unloaded in and be sent to adventure from the star menu. (Only land on home island if placed there, and have a button for sending them back to star.)



Specialists


Assign specialists tasks with a window similar to sending generals to an adventure. Clicking on any idle specialist opens a window for that type of specialist. Ie all explorers, or all geologists. And on the right side one could select the task to run. A Cancel All button which cancels all queued orders (and not already in production)
A Move to Top button on each order to instantly send an order to the top (right behind active production) instead of just 1 up.


Mail/Loot accept windows

Currently the layout of the loot offer, adventure loot, scout loot etc in the mail is HIGHLY inconcice. Change the layout to 1 uniform accept/decline layout. Keeping player mouse motion in mind the best would be a left and a right button. Not a top and bottom layout as the player moves the mouse from top (opening mail) to bottom (interacting with content). There are 3 designs for those windows at the moment. One with top+bottom (horrible), one with Accept/Decline and one with Add to Star/ Add to Storehouse.

Is LMB RMB something BB have control of, or is that pre-empted by flash.

Either by Flash or general web makes RMB un-usable so LMB+context is only option :(

Now you've proved extra Island can be added give generals their own Island, seriously they land all over the place now. Free of charge. Possibly earned.

Cancel search possibly only available for 1 minute after initially sent.

I would only add that as far as MoD and Drac generals go there are two camps. Those who would not want to see a change and those who want changes for various reasons. Would it even be possible for those in the second camp to reach a consensus on what those changes should be.

I like all I have seen so far.

Only a few extra things not on list:

Make sure that every pop up message that comes does not cover up troops overview; that is very annoying.

Make BB stop spamming us at events - maybe by making a check box in the message, so that you can say you have read it and does not need it on every log in.

Make it possible to see end result of the fight reports without having to watch entire report.

Have a summary after each adventure telling you how many troops of each kind you killed.

It is Xmas in a few month time- so maybe we can make wishes :)

All of this and WHY oh WHY if there are 2 lootspots are we only allowed to be on 1 at a time... If you are in an adventure with 2 lootspots then you should be able to have the ability to accept both other lootspots especially as they are meant to be swappable and not for selling....

I'd like to see a user controled pop up window for people visiting my island, atm mine would say "DON'T KILL MY GOLEM! OR BUFF ME" better still an exception list so only selected people can do anything other than just look around

+1 on some kind of notice board for visitors. A simple pop-up screen that you could put a little text into. I have a buff schedule (like I'm sure many people do) timed around my time before work or when I get home after work so that some things can run buffed 24/7. If someone slips in at the wrong time and buffs buildings I know they mean well but it messes up my schedule and either forces me to cast stop-buffs or wait until my next timing. There as some building someone could always buff that would help me, and some I always want to manage myself for assorted reasons even beyond the timing.

A feature like this would be very helpful

This would be brilliant, not specifically for the reasons mentioned but now everyone levelling it's hard to find people on list, so perhaps adding a ''best'' friend option would be helpful. A user programmable interface would be the cherry on top.

On the home island, add a "troops in adventure" overview to the current population/troops overview (alongside "assigned" & "unassigned units").

with the new QMG taking 2 mins to arrive, can we also pls have a dedicated looting general that carries say just 5R and 5C and travels in 5 minutes too?

I had thought of something like that - perhaps having it flagged for a short period of time - but I think the choice of finding them all or getting down to the last 1 or 2 is a personal one because the fairy fire is there if you think you just *must* have it.
When an event isn't running and I'm tired I'm quite happy to leave the last one...
sometimes...
until maybe I wake up later and have just one more look....

Yeah - I mentioned once that if you get them all you should be awarded a regular amount of one of the possible collectibles chosen randomly. I think that would fit within the structure and wouldn't upset any kind of balance to get 3 extra herbs or 1 extra grain sack or something like that. Make it a little more exciting to hang in there for the last one.

let's not, you can already buy yourself to 75 if you buy enough ls and times are good for those selling ls so why ruin a good thing.

Add friends name to adventures in progress icon's shown on the right side of the screen for example "Player A's Roaring Bull"

Allow an adventure, expedition, scenario as well as an invitation (perhaps 2?) to an adventure at the same time.

As previously suggested, all generals and garrisons should return to a specific location on the main island making it much easier to manage for those with lots of them. With every event we add 1 or more and it will become a bigger issue over time.

Buffs and battle reports could be improved and was mentioned in 2012 dev diary. Instead of using the news tab, perhaps a new menu showing those statistics would save sending out all those annoying "new mail" messages. Hopefully devs remember to remove the leftover code which they forgot with the adventure map collectibles.
