Hello, so as I laid down in my bed and decided to play Settlers online and eat Tortilla chips when totally suddenly huge problem entering in the game after loading screen is over, that Event tooltip showed up and just froze on itself and it just won`t move or close it, It is just there and doesn't work, here is the screenshot (SS) of the following problem :

- This happened on the Internet Explorer 11 browser, I haven't tried any other browser. Game works the new quest tooltip is dancing while this Event tooltip is just frozen. My problem is that I cannot close or pass by that Event tooltip!

Strangely I have exactly the same issue that has just happened in last 30 mins after playing fine earlier!

I closed browser, cleared cache/history etc, rebooted... exactly the same. I use IE11 on Windows 10. I changed to used Edge and it works fine, went back to IE, still crash/freeze!
I noticed if you 'right click' the screen you get the normal html prompt rather than the Flash prompt when it had 'crashed'.

I have the same problem on IE11. Moved to Firefox and can play again. Phew!

Very weird. No problem under current release of Chrome for me... someone said it might be just IE 11 - does that seem to be the case? Is this happening to anyone using Chrome or Firefox?
And perhaps try alt-tab to see if you can somehow cause the active window to reset - I've seen that work in some circumstances.

i can't get it to work neither with firefox or safari...
i haven't been able to play since last night, what gives?
doing the achievements of the event is hard enough while playing, but not being able to play makes it kind of impossible :S

Identical situation here. Input for other flash apps (e.g. combat simulator) is working fine though.

Same problem here since yesterday. I agree, it will be very difficult to do all the achievements if we can't play the game. Plus, I miss my friends! I had hoped that last night's maintenance would fix it but no such luck.

Having problems with clicking that BOX that pops up. Nothing seems to be clickable. Normally right click pops up flash box but in this case seems like it doesn't focus on the flash

yep, cleared everything, but it's still a no go, and up until this morning i had the game running on Opera browser, but now i can log in the game, but every time i press anything, the game just freezes :S
yeah, this was a great time to break the game guys, really good timing ;)

there is several bugs on going depending on what browser your playing in on IE 11 anything in the top section of the game becomes unclickable since the maintence so you cant close anything or clear anything ie mailbox i wasnt able to tick any mails in the top 4-5 on my mailbox anything below this was clickable ... on firefox/waterfox the user interface is small and only thing zooming in does it make the map itself larger not the user interface so thats become unusable(the interface seems to match what your screen resoluton is and wont change)

only one browser i have found so far to be bug free and thats chrome

This has been a problem for me for a couple weeks now and I can't believe there has been no actual fix, or even an update on the situation. I am sure I am not the only firefox/macOSX user that is experiencing this problem... and like you qawpaw, the cache cookie clearing has never fixed anything for me

can't wait to play again without having to use some third rate browser I don't care for... its 5 times laggier than firefox and its a pain to play on safari, its actually keeping me away

IE under win 8.1 now Works again, read the post and you will be up and running after 2 minutes.

well its been a few weeks and I guess the fix worked for some people.... I have been using chrome.... at least it isn't a lag fest like safari was... but firefox still won't load completely and remains unusable... in spite of all the cache clearing and cooking clearing and flash installing etc. I am wondering if its an issue specific to the latest macOS update
