Missing Expedition troops

I am trying to finish the training expedition. i have 1day left. as usual i was an idiot lol and didn't pay attention and so i now have no troops lol. I'm trying to train more so i can finish it but my trained expedition troops troops disappear as soon as I have trained them, and im not getting the resources back so I can try to train them again.

This has happened twice now, the first time i shrugged it off and just trained more. but with it happening again im starting to think it best i seek help <3

so an update, due to my stupidity and whatever glitch was preventing me from training troops, i am failed the mission and due to this have no way to move forward with the quest line. if anyone knows a way to get hold of another training expedition it would be great.

*think i have worked everything out :D troop and resources still missing but am able to do the training quest, i think lol*

you can buy it in the shop for 10 fish (training island)
