Ali Baba follow on adv percentage.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can give me the real percentage of follow on adv's from Ali baba.
I have just reached a level to be able to play the wood cutter adv and after 5 of them I have had no follow up!

I know settlers wiki says near 50% but that's not even close! Anyone know the real percentage? It looks like its less than 10% and that's disgusting!

I did 12 woodcutters and I got 6 advs.
3x II thief and 3x III thief.

Sounds like you got the prescribed 50%. I may just have rotten luck but it seems unlikely, I played 21 hlt/blt with swaps and I got 0 woodcutter adv from them!

i had a streak of 36 tailor (no vlt) loots without follow-up. it happens.
also the first 4-5 ali baba did not produce one but now im close to the 50%.

Only BLT and HLT have a chance of getting the ABtywc adv, as for AB adv's from ABtywc, I'd say I'm at aboutish 60-75% getting "follow up" AB's

at least according to wiki the difference of getting a follow up from clt/slt vs blt/hlt is only 1%. unless you are suggesting there is a bug specific to getting ali baba from blt/hlt i think it can be considered close enough to bundle up for comparing.
after the dry spell ended i have got 3-4 ali babas from blt/hlt..

You only get ABtywc from BLT or HLT if you're lucky, never from SLT or CLT

I guess I must be due one soon, seems I got a bad luck rain cloud following me about for my entire 3 years here, lol.

On the adv search to find a woodcutter it states around a 9% chance to find one but 2% for se. Ive had as many se as woodcutter on that search so far.

Do BB reveal these percentages or are they just made up by wiki?

I got a 1st thief from my 6th woodcutter :) As soon as Xmas event start its time for a lev 6 barracks and kiss goodbye to 5k grout, phew these troop building times are unbearable. :(

So it's just not me then :(

I did 8 woodcutters in a row without a single followup drop, the 9th gave me a first thief.

I actually prefer banging my head against the wall over this...

Made a thread about this 2 weeks ago, since then played a few more, now 10 woodcutters and only 2 follow up, 2x 1st thief = 1 follow up, 2x 2nd thief = 0.
I have had to resort to swapping woodcutters for 1st, 2nd and 3rd thief thru trade.

Most people I have talked to about it seem to have a 50% drop rate which makes us extremely unlucky!

I don't think this is an unlucky 'dry spell'. Many others I know have also seen the same thing in the past couple of weeks.

I've done 6 in a row and not one has dropped a follow-on.

No issue here - but been playing follow on adventures mainly rather than wood cutter. I've even had two oil lamp and two princess adventures so maybe its only the first in the chain that is 'unlucky'.
