Archipelago Iron Deposits

An iron deposit got moved on the third archipelago sector.
The new deposit can be found even though the old deposit stays until it has been depleted.

I let the iron mines in the A3 sector run dry and searched for new ones this afternoon.

Perhaps it's something like that marble and stond depos that you can't find all. 1 of them keeps alternating.

If they are just moving one, why should you be able to build one more than before? After that "removed" one gets used, I hope we will be able to find also that one on top left corner.

It seems this is what BB intended. I had assumed that they were moving the iron mine that is half in the rock to a better position, instead they have taken away a perfectly good iron deposit and we now have 2 iron mines that are only half showing. How is this an improvement?

They should remain until depleted. As I see it, it works as intended.

No if you already have mines on the 3 deposits it will not find the new one. The only way to find the new deposite is demolish a mine thats already standing

The screen shot is the result of what happened after depleting them and then searching for new deposits.

If that is working as intended, then the intention is wrong.

this is my island, with the 3 deposits in A4 ALL found after maint, and no longer able to find the deposit in A1:

Yeah same issue here.
No longer able to find iron deposit on Sector 10 (depleted deposid is there) and geologis even with "Lucky Find" tried over 30 times can't find it. OTOH no matter if I depleted those 3 mines in Sector 13, geologist find them back.
What really bother me is not issue with iron deposits.. 3 are there in any soluton... What will be with granite deposit which should be there?

Actually it does not work as intended. It's worse then before and it looks ugly as hell.No matter what, the S1A iron deposit is gone for good and in S3A there are now 3 iron deposits.

Having built mines on the three deposits and let them run dry, I have now searched for deposits again and they have appeared in the same three spots and no deposit in the northwest of the island.

I have the problem that I can't re-find 2 Iron Deposits in S3 (normal) ... that's a completely different issue!

I can't find the iron deps in s4, 3, and 6 on Main island.

Since the last "fix" my geologists have been unable to find 2 gold deposits in sector 9

I sent the geologists after the maint and I am still finding the 3 at the bottom but no deposit at the top.

Same problem , still 3 iron deposits in S3A and no iron deposit in S1A.

Same here.

Haven't had the iron in s1A since the 19th Jan maint (didn't get the new s3A deposit then). Now getting 3 deposits in s3A, all depleted and re-discovered since 26th Jan maint.
