This has been suggested elsewhere but i think we need a formal suggestion.
With the new Guild quests it is even more important to be able to prepare and plan your next day if possible. So please BB bring back the waiting guild quest.
I am hoping this thread can be a vote rather than a discussion so just a plus or minus 1 would be great. It is being discussed a bit elsewhere already.

+1 I like to be able to plan ahead
if we can't go back to sensible quests then I vote yes.
the blurb says quests are the same.... well I'm the 1 doing em and I've seen a dramatic increase in difficulty so bb I don't believe u!
Only if it was not removed to fix the GQ bugs. Being without a waiting GQ is better than not receiving any for upto 13 days.
-1, because we had gq reset after every maitenance, and waiting gq on monday wasn't gq for tuesday

can you explain logic behind this statement pls, because i dont understand. honestly i dont see connection between your statement and mort's proposal, for me two different things (disjoint bugs which should be repaired)

we used to have a guild quest reset every two weeks which did mean that the waiting quest shown for every other Tuesday was incorrect. But with the new guild quests they are finishing every 24 hours so that we DONT have to have a reset so waiting quests should work.

without knowing the next quest some of the quest are not doable (at least for us who doesn't run PC as the first thing after they stop the alarm clock)

+1 this is needed for those quests to produce weapons or planks or bars, these need long time so it will be impossible if you late to start production up.
Thanks but no thanks, life would be so boring without the challenge.

Some not having the time for the challenge is the point Dorotheus. Im not thinking of myself but those that dont have the time to spare sitting here for 12 hours as I can :)
Thanks but no thanks, life would be so boring without the challenge. u obvious have time enough to be ingame, but try think of those with family, life and jobs, who can't? the game is challenging enough without the gq

I think the quick fix was to reset once a week and now they reset every 24 h. Waiting does not help much and would just put pressure to log in early or postpone other production so you can start your codex in time.
If I only knew that today I was going to make a codex I would have prepared a tome.... So yea, +1

If only you did your GQ every day before this, then you would never have had a waiting quest anyway.

A waiting quest could still be shown We are also particularly asking now to help us plan a little.
(Previously if we finished a guild quest quickly there was not another in waiting but another would pop up in 3 or 4 hours or after 2 a.m. it was a bit hit and miss)

-1 to your -1.
A lot more is expected now, it would really help to know what I'm going to need tomorrow. It would allow planning of leveling, preparing buffs, buying resources, etc. - many ways to prepare.

I'd like to think I'm prepared for all 65 Guild Quests so the waiting quest wouldn't help me any (not often I saw a waiting quest before anyway as I am in a Guild that did our GQ daily before the change).
It seemed to me that the "Waiting" GQ caused a lot of confusion for new players who tried to complete it without realizing what 'waiting' meant. I am glad it is no longer part of the game.

Before the last overhaul of the GQ, we used to get the waiting one after 24 hours of the current one going live. But now the GQ is time-limited in itself, I feel that the waiting feature is needed now more than ever before, especially when it's going to be produce x amount of an item, or a codex etc. This would at least give us half a chance of preparing for it.

ta, thougth it rang a bell, but going back through 100's of posts to find it is a chore :p

+1 I agree 100%, with some of the higher level quests it is barely possible to complete them without notice. A sneak peek at the next days would help so very much - yes please to this one BB! :D

This can't be done without a revamp of GQ system and/or how (waiting) quests are working.
And still, just adding a "GQ preview" wouldn't do much to increase (even less restore) the possibility to cooperate.

I don't understand SmurfAsh why this would cause a revamp of anything. It would be very helpful to know if I'm going to need to ramp something up soon - and I can't see how the mechanics would have to change at all - since I'm sure it's not completely random on the day it appears.
