For all those players who have already cleared their island, you have this to look forward to:

So kill a camp on home island with Knights, but your island was cleared a while back... Nice work eh? another quest that cannot be completed. Please can we have a fix for this one?

The idea that players could get to level 64 and NOT clear their archipelago is a little daft.

Also mentioned here (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/31629-New-quest-line-bug-for-thoe-who-clear-expansion-island?p=295168&viewfull=1#post295168).

That's pretty lame...

64? Uncleared archipelago? Bwahahahhaha.

The fact that some cleared it before 51 may have been a hint. 64? Bwahahahahahhaahahhahhah etc.

Your feedback was communicated to the Game Design Team.
They were informed that most players cleared their islands way before receiving that quest.

Meanwhile please contact support if you find yourself unable to complete the quest.
You can use the contact form on this page (http://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/help-and-support).

Received this quest at L64. Done all the usual of clear cache, clean reboot, left overnight etc but it wont clear or auto complete. I have cleared all my Home Zone so does this mean I am stuck with the quest forever and if so is this expected behaviour? I assume not so posted here in bug section

This will be fixed with one of the next game versions.
Please keep an eye on future Change Logs for the exact date.

Hi there,

One of my Guildmates has run into a quest that is impossible, and I know the same problem is going to affect a number of us (including me) when the time comes.

The quest in question is "A Gift For a King". Part three has the following requirement:

http://www.oakhaven.org.uk/tso/img/JooeDeadQuest.png

All well and good.. except that he, I and several others of my Guild have already cleared all bandit camps from the archipelago with normal troops. Mine were gone before I even started buildiing Elite troops.

How can this quest be completed if there are no bandit troops on the home zone? Do we have to wait until next Easter and another set of Party Crashers (actually, for me that may be about the right timing, given I won't see this quest for another 8 levels).

One way to fix it would be to modify the quest so it includes Bandit camps in adventures (just a thought)

it's been already reported many times - still no fix. best if he reports that too, so they don't forget about :P

I don't see A Gift for a King part III in the wiki, but I see part I and I - starting at level 62. Is that the one? Are they kidding... you are still supposed to have bandits at that time? There must be some kind of mistake...

Part III apparently kicks in at L64, so I assume Pt II was L63. As you say, expecting there still to be bandits on the Home Island by that time does seem somewhat optimistic.

This should be fixed with the next game version.

Could you clarify what exactly will be fixed? The quest will appear earlier? It will not require bandits? It will be gone entirely?

Thank you

easiest workaround is what someone mentioned elsewhere - make it include an adventure garrison. No need to touch the home island for now...

I don't have final details yet, but I believe the requirements might be altered. A Change Log should offer more details before deployment.

i only hope the Game Design Team like computer games, considering all their thoughtfulness so far it's looking like they hardly ever play any, especially this one they work on... :(
