There should be an option to disband troops you don't want and to recover their weapons. A the moment I have 150 expedition forces which I am not going to use, since when I did the first expedition quest I had no idea how many troops would then be needed to mount an expedition and can't afford the pop to make enough.

Start another expedition and use the troops there. Even if you can't conquer the colony you'll get xp.

This has come up before, so I'll agree as before - I would think being able to disband any troop you want. Since I also think that things should have costs I feel a fair compromise is that you should get the weapons back, but not the brew (because they drank it all), and of course you lose the time it took so it's still reason to plan the best you can.

This probably isn't a new idea ...

Wouldn't it nice be able to reclaim unwanted troops..? Ever had (for example) 1000 bowmen & 100 recruits, butt he adv you want to do needs 1500 recruits & 500 bowmen... wouldn't it be handy to de-mob 500 bowmen then make the required recruits...

Instead of throw troops away unnecessarily...

Sorry for missing the other thread... so thank you for moving/merging it.

There are now (or will be soon for me be) 3 different army options... the Normal Troops, Expedition Troops & now Elite Troops....

I think the NEED for some kind of conversion speaks for itself....

Yep this should be an option...Also, getting the weapons back because if you disband a real army, you are still left with the weapons.
