Lower eggs

as always.....1 st week normal amounts if eggs in loot then bb do a "fix" maintanance and suddenly the drops in egg is highly reduced....
was roughly 20-25% 0 eggs...then maintainance was done now is running at 40-45% 0 eggs.....this happens time and time again in every event.....

7 blanks outta 12 loots this was not happening before maint!....

second week into this event and I have to say, being honest, the scouts, guild quests, adventure drops, quest chains have made it probably one of the easiest events ever to gain eggs.

Im normally the 1st to moan about an event, but this has been a huge success in my opinion

Yes Im an older player, but that has allowed a few of us to help out lower levels earlier than usual

only thing I've noticed getting worse is the lock ups with flash, events been enjoyable so far, been doing full bk and I usually do loot runs, as there hasn't been any real pressure.

Well, there was this one event (2013?) where i bought all the limited items with only explorer finds and had still plenty eggs left over.

This event it took me 9 10h days of playing the short well optimized version with premium of bk to buy the 4 specialists. Have all the generals etc.
So as far as i know this is best case scenario and it took 44% of the event and i didnt get enough to buy the buildings yet. If you are missing a piece of the puzzle and want to get all you'll have to resort to trading. I admit it took less time than i thought to get this far thanks to party crashers/guild quests, those give more than i expected.
Imo BB has reached the limit on nerfing adventures. It seems like they have the need to use premium factored in to their balancing now. If they go further i dont see a point to put in the effort to actually play the game and would buy the eggs from TO.

If you are an average player (1 bk with swaps a day) going only after MMA and doing all event quests/guild quests(big and active guild) daily you have a good chance to achieve that goal. I think "getting single most expensive item in the event shop" was the base of BBs balancing philosophy and this time they have achieved that goal fairly accurately.

I'm with Jolly on this, having a nice `easy going' event, achievements going to plan, enough to keep me busy, and variety of addy's all giving a reasonable amount of eggs. Yes for the hard core, it can still be a BK fest, but at least this time it is a choice, and I have been able to have more variety. Next year its `cherry on the cake time' BB....Female general capable of showing the MoMA how a real general gets the job done :)

Agreed. Lots of eggs - collectibles normally 35 (eggs + regular) and all the rest such as adventures, explorers, etc. - no problem with eggs at all. I couldn't be happier. If someone isn't getting enough eggs it's either an odd bug unique to them, or they just aren't putting in the time.

The lock-ups with Flash are indeed very annoying. It's not hard to resolve but having to refresh (or sit and wait) a few times an hour gets old. I hope there is a way to fix that.

I would actually suggest BB should remove the purchase limits on buildings.
Like that, there is a potentially "infinite" amount of eggs one can spend on the event - removing the perceived "need" to obtain everything.

By the end of the event, I will most likely have purchased the 4 generals (and nothing else) - but I actually feel it's rather stressful to get everything.
I am not the kind of guy spending 10h per day on a computer game, and the notion of "having missed out" on something is uncomfortable.
If there were simply no limits, I might not be tempted to think "I didn't max the limit".

For some players removing the limits would have the opposite effect.
