When is 00:00 = 01:00? Answer when the clocks move forward.

Ravel, please can we ask the devs to tweak the server clock so that we have the guild quest reset time moved to midnight UK time again please?

Or, more ideally, to say 10pm so people can start the new quest before bed and have time to get it completed the next day?

Many thanks.

The guild quest reset is working as it was announced (Dev Diary (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/32455-Dev-Blog-Guild-Quest-Rework)) at midnight (GMT time).

The summertime change should be abandoned all over Europe and rest of the world.

Totally agree re the mad movement too and fro of clocks, merely looking to get the tso clock to a more user friendly relation to real time. Until the clocks moved I, and 11 others in my guild, all started the GQ straight after midnight. I don't see us doing that at what is now 1am UK time.

I have wanted that for years. An old habit that should be forgotten.

Daylight saving time is the best period of the year... more sun in the evening what mean more fun outside :D
Europe should fix to the DST as standard time, the winter time counting is a nonsense from the past!

Lets not go into why the clocks are 73 hours behind shall we.

The feedback about the guild quest reset time was passed on to the Dev Team and a more satisfactory solution is currently in the works.
An official update will follow, as other aspects of the guild quest feature are also being reworked at this time.
As always, thank you for your feedback!

an option for guild leader to choose the reset time perhaps? ;)

That would be the best solution I think. Many guilds are based on nationality and as a result, time zones do come into play. A guild where most members will be able to start their productions quests right away and before going to bed is going to have an advantage over those who'd have to stay up until three in the morning to wait for it.

Bad idea, this would result in the GQ reset script running 24/7.

Personally I think the guild quest should reset about 10pm, give most Europeans a chance to get it started before bedtime, but I guess there's no ideal time.

There is no good time and that will never change. Our guild has mostly European players, but also Australia and New Zealand. Someone therefore is going to be better placed for time than others. I'm sure that applies to the vast majority of guilds.
