★ Problem seeing other guildmembers online [7328] [Archive]

Does anyone else have problems to see other guild members online, when you're in guild or all tabs?

Everyone in our guild has this problem, we see each other only if we're friends and use friends tab.

I've personally had this problem in 2 guilds already.

Even contacted to support for it, but yet no solution :mad:

I have this problem as well, it makes it very hard to communicate properly as you can't see who in the guild is online unless you are also friends with everyone in it - and you end up wasting so much time looking.

same in our guild, seems to be in newly formed guilds, so some sort of bug in guild setup???

We are a new guild, formed 19/4/16, name is The Shining Ones. We think this problem only started after the last update

This issue was present before and it was resolved, but it seems to have resurfaced.
As a result, we would be grateful for any reports and details that could help our investigation.

If you have this issue, please mention the name of your guild and the date it was founded on (in case it is reported in regards to new guilds only, as TheFairy suggested). I will make sure this info reaches the people currently looking into this.

My first guild which had this problem was Wanderers which was founded 2.2.2016, it had working guild lights couple of days before you had new type of updates for game instead weekly maintainces. I don't know if it has something to do with it. But in that guild it didn't show online members in all and guild tabs, only in friends tab.

well anyway that guild is closed now, because of that bug

hopefully problem will be solved soon :)

our problem started just after the last updates to game tickets have been put in. guild was formed on 19/4/16 the shining ones as the fairy says this problem started after the last big update .
Its close to 3 weeks now since this issue was reported are does anybody know if we are any nearer a fix

Original Lost Souls [SOLS] founded 19-04-16 we're having the same problem. Its ok if you add everyone in the guild as friends, but that doesn't get the lights on in guild.

It is the same in my guild WhySoSerious [WSS] founded 11/04/16 reported to support and still not resolved. Guild members that are online can only be seen in friends tab. Will somebody please sort it out :(

I am having a problem seeing if the members of my guild are online. The guild is DragonStone, founded 13-07-2016. The issues only surfaced after the 2 updates have been completed and was noticed today but another guild member also

There is still a problem with the Green online dots, they are not working correctly. I am not able to see if any of my guild members are online through the guild tab. Only certain people show up in my friends and All tabs. Any chance we know when this bug will be fixed please. its making building a new guild extremely difficult!

As per this morning, I have the problem as well; can't see any guild chat tab (and no trade tab either), as well as all my guild members showing as if offline.

It is every member in the guild who are affected with this. We can see who is on line via friend list, but not via guild list.

Our guild is now having this same problem - no one can see each other's green lights in guild list - every guild member is experiencing this - we can see each other's green lights only in friends' list - any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

Hey!

The online status for players in my guild is not working. Everyone has the same issue. Seems like it's only happening in my guild because I cannot find any other reports on it? My own status shows up for me, but that is it.

Latest Firefox, Chrome and Slim Browser have the same issue.

we had a similar issue yesterday - the guild chat stopped working after the new GQ arrived. Then anything I typed in guild chat came up as a repeat with "undefined text".

A refresh cleared the bug, but all my previous guild chat had been wiped and I was told Id been showing as offline (no green light) for the previous hours or two

After today's update our guild lost the green lights and everyone appears as offline. Everyone has the same problem and we can only see the status if we add each others as friends. Our guild is less than a week old as it seems to be the related problem based on the older posts.

Hi, I formed a new guild last week and all the lights indicating whether people were on or not was working fine, until last nights chat reset. Once the chat was back up after a few minutes, the lights have not been visible since. My guild is Defenders of Asgard (DeAs). I have had some new people coming across today and currently we have 18 in the guild and a further half dozen or so confirmed as on the way.
Lights do show on friend tab, just not on guild list.

For those having this problem, it is a "known bug" going back to at least 2011. Server resets can trigger the problem. Interestingly, the only solution at this time is hoping that a subsequent reset fixes it, but there is no guarantee that it will. The short term alternative, or between server reset roulette, is for everyone in your guild to friend one another and utilise their friends list. By the way, even though it is a "known bug", there is no plan to fix it presently :eek:

Since the end of the event, no one in our guild sees green lights when a player is online - except for our own avatars. Friend online/offline status is being correctly shown, and when a guild member is also a friend we see the green light there, but not within the guild-specific panel.

exactly the same issue, and support say the devs are working on the problem. It has been fixed before and yet the problem raised it's head numerous times again, so the root issue is not fixed...

Hello, we have the same issue here since yesterday. Guild was created on 05/07/2020. All members have this problem, everyone appears to be offline. I have checked the guild log, seems like it happened with server reset the day after we got to 11 members, so maybe there is a connection to the GQ being triggered for new guilds?
