View Full Version : You can't use buff kill during battle , or you can't retreat in woodcutter?

Hi, I'm using Wiki guide for Woodcutter, http://settlersonlinewiki.eu/en/adventures/fairy-tale/ali-baba-the-young-wood-cutter/ali-baba-the-young-wood-cutter-general-270-with-besiegers-and-mounted-swordsmans/

And i was attackign camp 5 + 6 + 7 , the problem I send generals, the block started late and general to camp 6 intercepted and went to camp 5, I tried to buff kill that camp, but not success, no assassins or cata was working, I lost first 200MS and general what was for general 6 killed the camp 5 with another 7 MS losses, but the problem he continued to camp 6, i tried to retreat it and no success to retreat, he continue walk to camp 6, killed the cap with another losses.

I lost 350MS, 30AM and simply can't retreat or buff kill, just watching stupid bug killing my troops !

Anybody else got this kind of bug !!?? why I can't buff kill during battle? any change on addies?

As far as I'm aware buff kills only work when a battle is not taking place.

It was working in SLT (last time I tried that before 1 month).
And I heard many ppl use that, specially when block about to fail or intercepts.

i Have used it before during attack too to prevent a failling block, but now seems it's not working, i've tried recently and it also did not work while fighting, so maybe BB changed the way they work.

I just now, an hour ago or so, used a catapult on 3rd thief adventure during attack, to prevent a block fail.

Must be other adventures as well as I was not high enough to have the troops for woodcutter when it did not work for me. I just assumed that was how it was intended to work.

You used to be able to use instant kill weapons when a fight was running but it would seem we no longer are able to.

So its a bug in woodcutter?

I have no idea, this was the first time ever in my history of TSO I used a catapult on a camp that's being attack - worked fine :)
