Why is it that items for sale on the guild market have Level restrictions ?

We are told many times that we need to prepare as we grow and yet you place Level restrictions on items within the guild market, e.g. Salt enrichment only for players Level 62 or above.

Surely this is foolish, wouldn't it be better to allow players of any level to purchase items( if they have the guild coins) and thus be prepared by having these items stored ready for when they can actually make use of them or to sell them on the TO and helping themselves to get other items which they may more urgently require.

If you allowed players of any level to purchase any guild items this would then create the need for players to do more GQ's to earn more coin thus having players more active.

I think in the past when guild coins were harder to achieve items were 'locked' to avoid mistakes by players but i really think it is no longer necessary. I am certain that most guilds would recompense a lower level if they bought something they could not use thinking they could.

The guild market item is seasonal, which changed from time to time. Players might have not reach to the required level to get something that they need.

I'm sorry but I don't find the argument for why level restrictions should be lifted on items in the guild shop a convincing one, not while you have items in the other tabs which also have restrictions on them. If your going to make a argument for lifting them then you have to make a argument which logically applies to all such items no matter which tab they are in.

Most items that are in the Guild Market are available to all in Trade. The only item in the current Guild Market not accessible to me is Salt Enrichment which is only available if Level 62+.
This item is also available to me by getting a lootspot in an Ali Adventure. If you are making restrictions in the guild market then you should also not be allowed to either buy in trade or be allowed to get a Ali lootspot.
I say lift restrictions on ALL Guild Market items to make a level playing field.

I don't agree on this, the trade tab will go wild if it's possible

Hello Dorotheus, I might not play long enough but as what I know, only items sold in guild market will change from time to time (and also special events items). Players might not reach the required level before it change again. Imagine if they also apply level restriction in getting event item...

I honestly cant see the argument here, you can't use it why would you need it, your not going to hoard salt enrichments for the day you can use them, the guild coins can be sold for exactly the same value as salt enrichments what on earth is the problem.

Just for reference you probably won't buy them when you do reach the level requirement, there isn't really any need. Save your guild coins for better offers.

Yes, there doesn't seem to be a good reason for this restriction.

As others have stated the Guild Market changes . The higher level resources are tradeable in any event so available for all levels . It is not unusual for guilds to give their lower level members high resources like cannons to trade with. Trade is and should be a huge part of the game. Its up to the individual if they save it or trade it, let them decide what is and what is not a better offer. I agree they may not want to buy them with guild coins when they reach the level currently required so that is even more an argument for them buying when they feel the time is right.

The game is about progression and some things have levels attached to them before you can achieve them, shall we start a free for all and remove all level restrictions, where do we stop ? Do we give everyone access to buying a Major General at level 1. A player cannot in any way shape or form use a saltpetre refill before they are 62, if the thread had been to lower the level restriction on the mine itself I would probably of supported that and in turn the access to the refill would be lower.
