All my Expedition troops die!

I hate it that the troop limit is there and all my men die and i can't take the map boss!

Help!!
i already have troops and i hate them sitting there doing nothing.

Any advice on how many to send and attack numbers of each type of troop?

but anyway if your general is dead you can get him back with Expedition medipack you can make it from normal provision, cheap to make

now what they say on there just confusing me, i kinda want to know ratio wise the best chance of getting to the map boss with enough troops to defeat it

The maps are random, this means there is no ratio. It's different for every map.
