no reward for crystals spent [16271]

I have had no issues using one crystal at a time, but i thought id try multiple crystals today and got nothing at all in the loot box

Hey QV, have done a few multiples and they have all returned loot. Not sure what happened in your case. :/

I feel sometimes it miss one or 2 loots when I do bulk, but tried like 6 time single rounds, and got loots correctly. seems there is a low chance to get nothing, could be bug.

If you look at the loots you can see they are added together. For example when using multiple crystals for short letter the loot can have 25, 50, 75, etc marble depending on how many crystals give 25 marble as loot

After receiving multiple reports of this, I've notified the devs. Thank you for your report and screenshot - they will be invaluable as to figuring out what's causing this. Keep an eye on this thread for updates, as I'll post in it as soon as I hear back. For now, all I can say is use a single crystal to avoid this happening.

but if you get say a mine refil or fragment parts or starcoins etc it adds them all into one lot

I have experienced next one now 3 times.. I choose for exp letters and short one, then 1 crystal and pushing violet circle and nothing happens (crystals are not going to owen) but crystal has been taken. After that I cannot close Excelsior tab at all and only way out is to refresh.. annoying to loose crystals.. will take screenshot if this happens again...

Spending single crystals is broken too. Just spent 1 crystal and got nothing and crystal is gone.

Update: Subsequent spending of single crystals gave rewards though, but first one did not.

I got that blanc screen also - but I can see that I did get a reward as I used all my crystals and I had some when I opened the Exelsior again. So maybe it is just not shown right ?

This may belong in Change Log [Feedback], or it may be a continuation of this same problem, or it could be a different problem, so picking one at random. Feel free to adjust as needed.



Visual glitch connected to an empty reward screen in the Excelsior UI should not occur anymore.


Haven't seen the empty reward screen this morning so that very specific bit may be fixed, but I have had several spins go like this: 'Spend one crystal ->no forge animation -> no reward screen at all -> crystal taken -> rewards appear quietly where they belong.' like Urd123, just without any reward screen pop-up.


The tricky part about catching a screenshot for this sort of thing is that you'd need to have pics of snippet totals + star menu resource totals + buffs totals + crystal and/or gems totals + etc both before and after each spin, and even with those there's really no good way to catch the vanishing crystal(s) and the animation not happening unless you're (un)lucky, expecting it, and know how to make moving pictures. So this time around [no screenshot available]

In case anyone finds it useful, I've been keeping an eye on the little X in the upper right corner of the Excelsior window and only spending one crystal at a time. It's tedious but it helps track what the game is doing and whether rewards are creeping in silently. So far a reward has arrived each time, even when nothing else happens visually beyond the crystal vanishing and the X changing colour.


Make sure X is gold -> click big purple button -> wait until X goes grey and back to gold (this can be a little slow) -> look to make sure rewards showed up.

i kept getting no rewards, or so i thought. they went directly to star. animation still does not operate properly. have to check star after each time to see what, if anything, was rewarded.

Had this issue happen several times to me as well - I've lost about ten crystals - also when new crystals turn up for the day it will say I'm getting two or tree crystals but then they don't appear. I think it might be me clicking too fast to accept new crystals or to get the furnace working.

I'm having the same issues as described above by Iolanthe.
It seems that if the animation and reward display fails any subsequent spins in that game session will have the same display failures.
Game reset and cache clear etc seems to sort it for me.
I can't be sure I am getting any rewards but am 100% certain the crystals go.
It's happened a few times so far, maybe 5 or 6 times. (twice today with hours between spins in one game session)
(I tend to use 2 crystals at a time)
