quest missing

I spent 20 plus crystals in the Excelsior to get a travel guide quest but when I look for it later there is nothing there. I tried re boot no luck. I have checked every tab , it's not there. Not happy , anyone else got ripped off?. I did not even see the name of the quest.

I had one instance where the door opened (after the machine did it's shaking) and nothing was there, and there was no noise. I decided to go to an adventure and return (to recycle the game) and as soon as I left for the adventure island I heard a "clang"...
When I got back the crystals were gone, no items in my star menu, so I don't know if I got anything or not since I can't be 100% positive what I had in the way of letters and buffs, but I don't think I got anything.

I will be watching more closely in the future. I noticed on the Wiki, an issue of "no reward" was supposed to have been solved... but my issue occurred after that. Next time I'll take a screen shot and open a ticket.

After you've spent the crystals and you have got enough travel guide snippets you have to complete the Travel Guide in the Excelsior before you get the venture.
