i think its because it freezes at the start, im having the same issue, game wont respond when i load, pointer doesnt work

If that is the case, then I can direct you to this thread (http://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/33920-Cant-close-info-window-so-I-can-play-game). We're investigating an issue with Firefox at the moment. Feel free to provide your own report/details in that thread if you're able. Meanwhile, please use a different browser, such as Chrome or Internet Explorer, until we can resolve the issue.

SOLUTION with the help of other settler(s)

On screen in TSO a new window "Event Window" (position on screen left under) with the countdown timer, just click and under the icon "?" [question-mark] you find the text with the complete list of adventures !! I use Chrome and the same issue is present when i play TSO, Game lags/freezes/chat reset/flash crash, and it continues through the day, every day, all day.

I posted somewhere else but will post again - it's very odd. Diwata and I have exact same computers (literally bought at the same time) and both running Chrome and all system related software the same (and of the same version) and she gets the 'hammer man' on our home network (broadband) often - perhaps 5 times each evening, and I see it very rarely. I can't find the pattern or offer any possible explanation. It's very odd...

Opportunities for buildings and generals (and more) that you can't get at any other time... ok then, ignore it. Strange attitude in my opinion though. I wouldn't care if they made a 'kick innocent bunnies' event as long as there were rewards I could use.

we were having problems with lag/hammer/jerky screen.
We closed every thing down and did a Full disk clean up and then a Full defrag (can take a couple hours) this seems to have solved hammer and lag issues , the jerky screen is not as bad.
the problems seem to occur after many updates etc. , we try to disk clean up/ defrag at least once a month to help our games/computers run better.

What a complete waste of time this halloween event has turned out to be... the refill idea has been the worst idea ever on BB's behalf. I sincerely hope that next year BB get it the pumpkins back into the adventures. Trying to get what you want out of this event is just to slow and the resources you waste on it is just ridiculous.

Come on BB, get it right. You did great with the Easter Event and others this year, why stuff this one?

I reported problems with windows 10 ages ago. Since the event started I have had problems loading the game, I have tried many of the fixes suggested by others, but I still can't load the game under windows 50% of time.

I have tried firefox which is unusable because of mouse problems and lags. Chrome has similar problems but less often.

Do you have a quest that ask you to produce titanium? Or does it ask you to gather or acquire? You can gather and acquire titanium from adventure loot, treasure search with explorer and with trade.
