Cannot log in

Seems to be since the Halloween event began, but I cannot reliably log-in to the game (using Edge on Windows 10). Hangs on start-up screen. Can take hours of refreshing, clearing cache etc before I can get in. Is anyone else experiencing this? And do they have a solution?

Have you tried any other browser or downloaded the stand alone version on the home page?

Could you try using a different browser (Chrome/Firefox) and let me know the results?

I got this problem few times and have nothing with the client side. I cleared the cache of the browser, used other browser, booted to windows(2nd os on my system) and with more browsers, nothing, unable to loggin, try later...

It happened to me in the occasion I was logged in at work all the day, moved home and was not able to login for an hour or so.

I recently updated to
firefox 49.0.2
and flash to
flash 23.0 r0
Both are latest and current versions.
Since these updates logins can take up to 15 mins and the game runs slow using a lot more CPU constantly, even if I switch to a blank tab the CPU is kept at full speed, previously it would idle if TSO was not the active tab.
I use Process Explorer and can see that plugin-container.exe is at almost full CPU usage all the time when TSO is loaded.
Up to now I have always been able to log in, as long as I wait.

Today I had a slightly different issue, was able to login but not to join the game, during loading I got the server shot down message and was redirected to the homepage...
Again after leaving workplace and coming back to the home computer.
