Guild shop changes

Why cant we get a better selection of items more regularly?
Many players have purchased all they want or need, and are waiting for a new range of merchandise. Surely we could have more items to choose from.... or at least renew the shop on a monthly or 2 monthly basis. (Waiting 6 months is no incentive to do the guild quests.)
All these guild coins are burning holes in a lot of pockets. :)
