When were we going to be told about the maintenance today

Did I miss something when I was on earlier? There was no mention of maintenance. BB what is going on? The whole game seems out of kilter at the moment. And don't get me started on the lack of MOD's.

it was a Hotfix Lizaard, it's on front page, but yeah no real warning. I logged back in at work to sort out next stage of crisis quest to find the site down yet again.

Wonders if this particular one just couldn't have waited another 2 days till after the expiry of crisis..

If we identify an issue that can be hotfix, we try and move on it as soon as possible. When the decision was made, news about the downtime went up on the homepage (http://www.thesettlersonline.com/en/homepage), Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/TheSettlersOnline/), Twitter (https://twitter.com/TSO_UK) and finally via an in-game announcement.

I know the downtime can be frustrating, but it was pretty important that we fixed the Crisis Quest rewards before the majority of active users attained them and were adversely affected.

Hey hun, It must of been just after I logged off as I was only gone for around 2 hours. Anyway, never mind, it is not as if it is life and death. Now back to rebuilding my island lol. :)
