Change default troop type to elite troops in adventures where elite troops can be used.

Currently every time you are loading an empty general with elite troops you have to first click the button and wait for the 'Switch Types' function to work. Since 90% of attacks are made with elite troops it would make sense to change the default to elite troops. Saves about 5 sec every. single. time.

Disable Switch Troops button on adventures where only one type of units can be used.

The button is only there to annoy people and waste time.

I use it to unload troops from the general. It's faster than the actual unload button where you have to click the green tick button also, but with the troop change you don't have to click it.

I would like it to stay as it was the last time you used the general (i.e. 'sticky') and that would help. But I agree with topgearfan and those would be good ideas.

Then you want to load again. Either wait another 5 sec to get back to the troops or for normal troops close and open general window. Takes longer than green tick.
Which suggestion are you answering to btw?

To whoever pulled this poop that happens way too much lately please read the forum rules:

Please stick to one suggestion per thread
We often encounter threads where players have included all their game improvement ideas within one post. While we understand this is comfortable for the original poster, it is not ideal. This can lead to confusing threads as people comment on one or more aspects of the original post and the topic tends to stray.

That was for the "Disable Switch Troops button on adventures where only one type of units can be used" before the threads were merged.

I use it when I want to unload the troops from a general and use them on another general. For example I do this for block generals when I have another general ready on the next place.

In elite adventures (ie Ali Baba etc) can we please have the generals default to assigning elite troops. They always default back to assigning standard troops if they are left empty and it is always an annoying little delay to change them back.

-1 - just always add 1 ms, usually a few spare.

Or it would be helpful if the general remembered its normal/elite troops setting even after unloading all troops. And that would help on the home island too.

+1 for suggestion.

We do all this as a workaround (sometimes it is even annoying enough to not do that), but, Seriously! this make more steps, to add 1ms everytime I unload troops! so you against the suggestion to make things easier for you, just because you dealing with this with 1 MS?

+1 very annoying thing, especially when things get laggy. makes no sense to me that they default to normal troops when in an ali addy without normal troops present.

Remember previous army choice or default to elite in certain addies... either way seems reasonable.

+1 for Elite Troops being 'default' for AB adventures.
(having 1S/MS assigned is a way to solve issue)

How to set the borderline for Ventures I don't know.

I always leave 1 Swordsman with the gen so I don't need to switch troop types. It might not be what you are looking for but it does make things easier, for me anyway.

LOL exactly what I do. I think the best overall answer (as I've said before) is that the general should stay stuck on whatever setting that was last used.
