Why have grout bonus when explorers never seem to find any

Thank you for the grout bonus form prolonged searches. Only one thing wrong with it. Not one of my explorers has brought back any grout since it started. I suppose I have got a 100% bonus as 2x0 is still 0

Same, normal days, 13 explorers come with grout, during events (this is second 2x grout event do this) explorers give no more grout !

Didn't fall for the 'double grout trap' Instead sent mine on artefact and advs as normal, got 2 rainbows and a ywc, worth far more than 30 extra grout but doubt bb understand the market that well.
Also a complete waste of a bonus period for a significant percentage of players who cannot access prolonged searches anyway.

+1 but I'm still have only 3 lucky explorers + 1x female explorer, can do artifact search, so i sent only my 10x scouts + 3 normal explorers to prolong, since I need grout, but well, got 0 until now.

No grout here either. Sending pattern is very consistent... 6 medium, 2 long, 2 extra long, 2 prolonged, 1 artifact, 1 rarity. I do that as often as the explorers come back. No grout found.

No changes to my usual sending pattern, result so far 30 extra grout.

Gotten 4x 60 from explorers sent out so far. Thought I was just being unlucky but looking here I am pretty happy they brought back something. :D

i have 19 explorers and sent out on prolonged and no grout returned on any :-(

I can remember writing in a similar tread last time we had this kind of event. And again I agree. 0 times anything is still 0. It seems a lot to do for close to nothing with that login screen.

Dont really get why BB made this event.
My best comparison is "Emperors new cloth" selling tactics . We are told we get something. We might think we get something, but really we get nothing.

Agree with most other posters here....the 'boost' got me less than I usually get and lost me what I would have got from other searches in the same time. Next time I'll ignore this and do what I usually do!
