Use of achievement points

Any thoughts on developing the ability to use achievement points to buy special buildings, upgrades, decorations etc. Its good to collect them, but they have no useful purpose, other than collecting them. I have enjoyed being able to use them during the Easter event to upgrade the university.

Take another look at the achievement system you was given plenty of stuff as rewards for completing the Easter achievements. As for regular ones they have many rewards with the biggest being 1001 gems.

Seen this system in other games and yes u can use the points to buy items. It is far more interesting and can add a lot to a game. atm i couldn't give a hoot about achi's in settlers, apart from easter 1's obviously :)

You're missing the point.
Achivements gives you bragging rights that may or may not impress enough to generate a lifetime partnership.

some of achievement now already give you small rewards, and some give you gems.

I can't see any point from getting something else !

maybe more recipes for the RPH? Skunk buffs, a decent glue buff or maybe specialised decorations to show you've made those achievements? Maybe the ability to upgrade those magnificent residences.

We have pages of suggestions of things we'd like to see, perhaps the devs could look through those and incorporate them into the acheivements.
