Collectible buffs

Is anyone else having the same problem as me, i.e. I select a collectible buff to start (potion of endless energy) click tick button, countdown timer appears, but doesn't move, just stays on max time.

Is the Mayor's House currently being upgraded?

Yes it is, does that stop them?

indeed it does, if anything is upgrading, then all production stops

Potion of Endless Energy can be made in the collections tab of the Mayor's House

Well the game needs to generate money - first to keep it running, second for the company to make some money from it - else there is little point in keeping the game around
