View Full Version : Field for entering amount when moving item from STAR is to small
After last update the amount to move from STAR i set to maximum ( was 1 before ) - change is fine - but I think it is now a problem that input field for amount is to small - only 5 digit visible -
If your star contain more than 99.999 units you dont know if you are about to move 10.000, 100.000 or 1.000.000
Would be better if 7 digits were visible.
What if this is intended to hinder exploitation of the star system ?

How and why?
it was better when the starting number was 1. at least you are less likely to put the wrong amount in a mine refill etc. when you have to enter the amount you want to use.
When you want to add 'some' to a deposit BB/TSO expect you to do a decisive choice.
That default has moved from 1 to max...who cares?

i never seen the need to star anything
He not said his issue when he star things! he want to place from star to his storage/mine/deposit or whatever!

+1 Got caught out by this again today.
Also having problems with inputting numbers when I have 7 figures of a particular resource in star. And no.. I don't use my star as expanded storage for regular resources. Having reduced all my refills in star to 6 figures (or less), the main one I am having this issue with now is Settlers.

Having such a small field there is just bad game design and should have been bigger from the start.

I love a good conspiracy theory but this is way too thin.

There are times where 1 is better and times where the max is better so it's a trade off. Mostly I move from star to inventory with stuff from Excelsior etc. and max works the best for that.

-1 actually this is what people was asking from long time.
Personally I like this change, because a lot of things that came to my star need to place, the rate for me is almost daily (mostly the resources came from PH and RPH, also the resources that came from adv like refills, also what came from Excelsior).

Yeah the number field size is too small. However I do like the change from one to max as 1 was never a correct value and most of the time the stuff I often use from the star menu should be max by default.
Where was the change from +1 to +max in the change log??? I lost all my granite deposit refills. Well done.

How you "lost" them? also, it was always with 1, so you always have to edit value! don't say you did not notice this? personally I have used to it, took from me like 2 days just to get used to the new behavior.
But yes you right about change log, nothing mentioned about this in change log, was good surprise for me :)

Thanks for the feedback - I'll forward it along to the dev team.
