View Full Version : "Send to adventure button" wierd behaviour

This has happened several times now, at first I thought it was a random glitch.

Test conditions:

Join a roaring bull adventure as ls (I bought on TO).
Start one ali adventure, I've seen this with ywc and first thief.
Load a general with some ali troops.
In the genral window click the new "send to adventure" button.
The general packs up his tent.

Sometimes he almost gets to the storehouse. Sometimes he doesn't complete packing his tent. Suddenly the general is back in his tent on home island as if nothing happened and does not get sent to adventure.

This seems to only happen when a conventional troops adventure and an ali baba is running. When my rb ls ended I could send to the 1st thief and it worked properly.

Thanks for the report - can you reliably replicate this issue then? Also, when did this first start occurring?

Maybe it is because the selection of what adventure to send general to is overruled ( you can only choose ali because general is loaded with elite units). When general then start moving your selection has been registered as first choice which is RB ( if he was loaded with regular units ) to which he cant go because he carries elite units.

Some days ago a guildie had a major going to a colony - maybe same bug.

Yeah similar thing happened to me. Was doing a pvp adv when I got an vlt ls, sent a gen(bhg) to vlt using this sent to adv button and only had 1 choice of adv to send him to, so sent and all seemed fine. Finished the pvp adv while he was travelling and that somehow that reset the bhg travel and sent him home. Lucky was a guild ls so I could send another gen.

someone get a normal gen to pvp map and wreck everyone :D

Did this only start happen after the last downtime?

I saw this first on monday before the update. I think it only happens when a normal adventure plus an ali adventure is running.

Edit to add - no, he wouldn't attack. Quite disappointing, after all that effort.

I was a bit annoyed at the time as I had sent him on a lootspot, and I wasn't expecting him to go off sightseeing on a pvp island. I will recreate it on the EU server when I get a chance - I think it will be easy to do!

This happended again now so I can replicate it, not sure how reliably. Tried to send a gen with ali troops to a third thief while also on bk ls, he started packing his tent but gave up and returned like in the video. It's 0630 CEST so probably not a server load issue, everyone sane is asleep.

what if you load him with normal troops instead of elite troops - just 1 recruit to test

Also placing gens from star at adventures does bug a lot of times.. in many cases whole landing spot is cracked up. and u cant get gens out from star. u can place them and it starts to build and then disapears.. usualy after that u cant use that spot anymore.

I reported this problem the day after the "send to adventure" button was introduced, the answer I got was that if my general was stuck I should contact support... witch he wasn't, as sending the generals the old way still works as intended. I can't reliabely replicate it, but if the problem arises with any set of adventures it is persistant, also after a reload, and only workaround is sending the general the old way.
