Please refer to this thread (https://forum.thesettlersonline.com/threads/35065-URL-change-HTTP-gt-HTTPS) for advice. It's just a re-enabling of Flash on the new HTTPS address.

I got no problem but just wanted to say, "Thank you, BB!" since it's not said enough around here. I much prefer the added security of HTTPS than HTTP provide. :)

The info in that announcement is incomplete. In latest Google Chrome for example the site tells me my flahs player is outdated, but chrome is using its own built in flash player which can't be upgraded separately. So game won't work in Chrome.
Showing this error:

Turns out you have to click on the underlined "Flash Player Installation" to trigger chrome to ask if it is allowed to run flash.
I also want to say a big Thanks to BB for adding this :)

As what Opper said, the info provided make nothing about this issue, also the screenshots are clearly from Firefox, i can log into the game using Firefox, but not for chrome, I can't play using chrome.
But click link indeed make chrome ask to run flash or block.
All you need to do is to allow Flash to run on our HTTPS version of the website landing page now. In Chrome, you'll either prompted when you try to run the content, or you can click on the "i" symbol in the top left and edit the permission to allow Flash content.
