Hi,

I can login, but it doesn't load the game. I have updated both browser and flashplayer, cleared cache and tried it with safari and chrome. Does anyone else have problems with file loading?

thats all ive been getting for the last hr. cleared cache/cookies, refreshed closed the browser re opened it. rebooted by PC still the same. it was fine till flash player crashed and i had to refresh.

Same issue here, out of nowhere...

I've cleared the cache of Chrome, did the same with IE and even downloaded Mozilla Firefox but to no avail with any of those.
Shame as I was about to attack the last camp in my current adventure but that'll have to wait for tomorrow.

As all other websites tested work just fine and at least 2 other settlers have also posted about this issue, I guess all that's left to do, is await for someone @BB's HQ to fix what needs to be...

Well at least I'm not the only one getting this problem. Seems their server hamsters are on strike again and BB has left for the day.

I am having the same problem than cliff60. I was playing fine last night and when I wanted to start playing this morning that was all I got. I also clean my cache, restarted pc and no luck. I use explorer and win10.

I'm on a Macbook - It was fine at around 5pm GMT but since then it's not been loading - around 5/6 hours...

Same problem, not able to log in for 5 hours now on either Newfoundland or Ares servers. Not good during an event. I paid for premium time specifically for the event but it is being wasted, and the returns I can expect from the event are diminished because I am unable to send out explorers or do adventures. VERY disappointed.

now it is me... :(started with file loading error. refresh many time... then load and hang... and refresh many time... follow instruction to clear cache, delete site on flash... no hope... try chrome, safari, firefox... all the same

lost pumpkins... :(

same problem for me too, been trying to get on for the last 7 hours.
Not good enough BB, hope you have some compensation lined up for us.

Also picking up the same issue. While I was logged in, there was a heavy heavy lag on the game. My mistake was refreshing to try and fix this up, but I'm now unable to reconnect. Tried the typical fixes. Playing via safari browser and have tried chrome to make it work.

If the loading get stuck in this "white screen phase" - then allways retry.

If you'd get past that and into game ("blue screen phase") and get stuck at "Loading Tip Screen" when loading your island - it's sometimes worth waiting.

Yes, that seems to be the way to go for now - retry, retry, retry and retry again til it works.
Too bad it won't last that long as flash will sooner or later "crash" into a white page.. :(

Occasional file error flash across the screen but not having any issues loading but the game stalls a lot

I just crashed out but got back in immediately

Same problem here,been trying chrome and firefox :(

(Keep getting that message:File loading failed! Please check your network connection, clean your browser cache or try again later.)

BB wake up please and hurry with a fix:We have Golems to kill and Pumpkins to hunt

If you look up "clear cache steam" in google, you should find good instructions for it. Since I'm not playing via steam, thats about the best I can offer for you. Goodluck :)

I also can not get into the game stuck on loading screen the first white one cache cleaned and still nothing please sort this out I got pumpkins to collect and treasure searches to restart!

A few buffs and pumpkin refills? Is that meant to compensate us for not being able to log in all yesterday afternoon and evening (in my case)? What about all the pumpkins I missed out on by not being able to send explorers and buff the pumpkin patches? There won't be any way to get those missed pumpkins back. And I don't need refills, I have plenty from adventures. What about the wasted premium time that I paid for specifically for the event? Very disappointed in the paltry offering, doesn't come close to adequate compensation.

About the premium time purchased specifically for the event, one would hope you then bought such premium for the entire duration of the event, no? Not just 24 hours at a time because THAT would be a waste, wouldn't it?

Feel free to disagree with me and call me a few names if that makes you feel better, but don't forget that time spent answering here, is precious time wasted away from your premium and pumpkins cemetaries! ;)

I have no interest in calling you names or in answering your sarcasm with sarcasm. I'm not sure why it bothers you so much that my opinion of the "compensation" differs from yours, but if you don't like my opinion, that's fine. All I said was that the "compensation" is useless to me and does not in any way make up for what I lost during the downtime. I don't understand why my comment should bother you so much.

Update: Please clear your browser cache & try again. The error has been fixed and the game should load properly now after clearing cache / CTRL+F5.

Update 2: If you still experience problems, please try another browser / incognito mode while we investigate if we can additionally do something on our end.

Though I'm still having crashes to white screen because of timed out server calls when just going AFK and leaving the game running on it's own.

I'm having this problem multiple times, every day. It began about a month ago and it's been getting progressively worse. No matter what I do (and I've done everything that is recommended) nothing really solves the issue. Today, in chrome, I got the error while loading the game itself - it never happened during the loading, only after the game was already loaded in the browser. Result: can't play the game on chrome at all at this point. And yes, I retried about 10 times and it always choked at the same point.

Moved on to Firefox, and while the problem still happens, I can at least get into the game.
So... what's happening?

Happens to me maybe twice a week but has not prevented any game play. I think maybe this and the fact trades and buffs disappear plus the 10 minute load time means the game has become an uncontrollable behemoth for developers and the game is simply falling apart. Such a shame. Maybe they should go offline for a week and completely rewrite the code...or something. Please save this game!
