Explorers cant find new archipelago sector.

So, got to lvl 50. Started clearing archipelago. Cleared the first enemy sector yesterday. Bought the cleared sector with deed. Today searched for next sector. Explorers cant find it.
" Your explorer was not able to map a new sector.
No unexplored sector is adjacent to one of yours, or a neutral sector."

Tried several times.

Have you claimed the sector you cleared? If not you need to place a storehouse.

Storehouse is not needed to find next sector.

In order to find another sector, it has to be adjacent to one you already own.
How do you own a sector? By placing an island storehouse on it.
Then as Dorotheus explained, you have claimed the sector. Congrats!
Otherwise there is a sector, without bandits on it, but which isn't yours.
Now you can launch a search for an adjacent sector to yours and I bet you, you'll find one :)

My northisle account did the exact same thing a week before and found the next sector first try. Never heard of this being a problem before.

You were right. Built the storehouse and found the next sector no problem.
How the bleep does one server need storehouse to find a sector and other doesnt is beyond me..
