new sector hasnt given me more building licences

i explored the new sector, put a storage barn on it and it wont give me the extra building licences. i cant even put a provisional house in the sector. no gems to afford to buy more licences eithr!

What did i do wrong?

exploring a new sector does not give you licenses. Only sectors with bandits will give licenses and they will be in the loot mail after you kill the leader bandit camp of that sector.

I did conquer the sector and none were freed up. It has all turned blue but still no new licences

How do i work out the name of the sector?

On the main isle sectors are numbered the same as a numpad, so.

123.
on the archipelago it's starting on the left and working anticlockwise.

For Archipelago the shortcut commands you just need to hold ctrl key down along with numbers 1 through 5.

Make sure the island map is activated while doing it. Just need a click anywhere on island.

In that case, it's sector 2 that did not give me the entitled 10 permits. I can build on that area but I have had to remove other buildings so that I can build on that area

you checked mail and star menu?

the licenses are given in a loot mail, when you accept them they go to star menu, you then have to place them on the mayors house
