Newbie blues

Hi all. This game seems complex but enjoyable and expansive, but sometimes slow and frustrating. How do I access chat, or do I need to reach a certain level first???

There are a number of tabs at the bottom of the chat area, bottom left of your screen. General (Global) chat is the first one, icon looks like a globe. Next to it is help where other players can answer general questions about problems/issues. Chat really comes into its own when you join a guild of like minded people. Am guessing you're below lvl 17 so follow this guide:

The chat will unlock at level 5.

Be prepared that this is a slow game, you need a LOT of patience at times.
