hello ... i just found a bug in MCC Unknown regions
I have cleared 3 villages
collected the furs at each and applied the buffs at each stage
First 2 – spikes and goggles worked fine … BUT .. the third one hasn’t placed ... winter clothes (have run this venture now about 7 times but it’s the first time since the latest game update that I have done it)
Have tried to refresh .. now after reload .. the buff is gone .. the furs used up .. but buff not placed.

so have lost extra troops compared to what I would normally lose on final run in and the 45 ore from the side quest .. but also as part of the issue .. it now flags me as not having got rid of piercing cold for the remaining ventures in the chain – which is more of an issue!
This seems different to the post below of other bugs in the venture
Same here, ticket for support created.
Tried following adv and Piercing cold is still active there.
On the testserver there is a changelog which should repair the buff problem in MCC adventure.
Hope it will find its way soon too the real servers and solve this problem.
Hope that BB can reply on this item.

update .. left the venture open in case it would help. Was sent fresh version of Winter Clothes buff .. which was successfully placed.
Whether this means its fixed for future run throughs or not I am not able to confirm .. however it has set my "flag" for having had piercing cold removed for the follow up ventures.

Exactly same issue for me this morning. Raised ticket but wondering if I should wait for a response from BB or just finish it and suck up the extra losses.

had this happen myself today and didnt understand why I was losing so many troops having loaded them correctly. Have sent ticket to support in the hope they also send me warm clothes buff for the rest of the series :(

Same issue, the 3rd debuff not worked and lost a lot of troops, I'm not stuck and waste my time (prem for instance) not sure do i need to continue???
Also from today we have 2 off days so it is 3 days waste of time, good job BB with killing game!
Have the same issue.. Ended up cancelling mountain labyrinth to avoid troop loss.. Tried again now im stuck in unknown regions the buff has disappeared but de-buff still active.
ticket raised... Please fix this so i dont have to abandon another chain :(

I'm still waiting for the support to do something. 1 day for a known issue and nothing happened...
Edit no2: I was granted a new warm clothes buff and this time it worked, but it took 2 days.

I got the same problem, just put in a Ticked.
This is silly!
In help i hear others got the buff to continue, i get a default message back and when i respond they have closed my ticked already???
this all the same evening.
Gone cancel the venture.
Very disappointing ......

My question now, is it going to be a new task in adv? like apply the buff, then open ticket? then continue the adv?
Not clear what the reason, and this bug seems effecting even the adv started after the update!

It seems the bug is still active .. and for a long term solution we may need to wait for a game update so for now ... avoid Unknown Regions. The bug seems to have appeared after the co-op update to game.
Its currently the weekend .. and staff at support I would imagine are not the same or much reduced from in the week - those still having issues I would expect that on Monday more solutions will come up for you.
I would advise based on my experience that if you are having this bug - keep the venture open.
If support send you the new winter clothes buff to remove piercing cold you will be able to remove it ... and it wont be there in the follow up ventures. IF you close the venture it will still be there in Mountain Labyrinth, People of the Mountain and Giant Battle .... meaning you will need to re-sim every fight.... OR hope support can edit the flag that piercing cold has gone in your game data .. OR wait till you get another one to do.... which as getting foot of the mountain takes approx 300 crystals .. that may be a lengthy wait.
Fortunately the co-op update does mean there is plenty you can do with your ls slot in the meantime while you wait.

German server gets support over the weekend and in under 1.5 hours of receipt of one of the tickets...

The bug was way before the update,happened to me (warm clothes not applying and leaving piercing cold active)4 weeks ago,support tried to tell me it was my fault till I showed them all the SS's,funny how they had prior knowledge of this bug and just let it continue without proper investigation and leaving it just to get worst over time..maybe they were a bit bored and wanted a flood of problems before fixing it!

I closed my Unknown Regions and I hope support can fix that even with that, I really can't waste time waiting and stuck with that, Ticket opened in Friday midnight - first of Saturday and today is Tuesday, 4 days no reply from support (2 working days), this is shameful, and I'm really disappointed.

well Ive had responses, but now they are saying that because I closed the adventure, the ticket is going to be closed.
I closed the adventure because it was wasting my premium time, so I suffered more losses and finished it.
But what about the rest of the chain? If they send a debuff can it still be used on the next adventure in the series?

if this issue is resolved on test server why cant bb do an emergency fix and implement it immediately. are we really going to have to wait weeks for it to appear on live servers?
i'm sure i'm not the only player waiting to start this scenario and obviously there are many players stuck, or wasting unecessary troops or just giving up!
I guess there are 3 issues that need to be correctly fixed:
1) Where a player has not yet reached Unknown Regions and needs to be sure its fixed before starting it.
2) Where a player started it, got the buff and was unable to invoke it, went back to home island then back to Unknown Regions and buff was gone.
3) Where a player sucked up the additional losses from playing without the buff being invoked but is waiting to start Mountain Labryinth because the losses are very harsh without the buff.
There does not appear to be any information about when the next intended maintenance is or when they could implement a 'hotfix'.
As soon as we have information on a permanent fix for the issue, we'll let you know. Right now our Support Team is under heavy load, and is trying to get to everyone's ticket as soon as they can. We really appreciate your patience on this matter.
I had same problem with warm cloth buff and managed to finish Mountain labyrinth with 7-8 Roa on each camp that was left.
Problem is also present with People of the Mountain and Giant battle that has to be played, will piercing cold remain?
For now, it will remain aside :)

I've played all my 5+ full chains with both, deep snow and piercing cold active on purpose because you get 65-75% more ore from the remaining adventures so it's not a disaster to have it as a bug. However it means you need to use specific guides or a simulator.
edit: also the ore bonus is a game feature not a bug. The quests mention about better rewards and the detailed effect was shared during test server testing by BB

Support can still help you, but it's just a lot easier if the adventure is still open!

any chance youd put up your own guides? ;)
That would require everyone have the same generals and skills which makes it to so small group of players it would not make sense :)
I however made a simulator to help people play MCC with any debuffs, generals and skills.

Thanks to Paul from support. I received the warm clothing buff and can now continue on. Much appreciated as I know there will be several other people all in the same boat. looking forward to continuing on for my 4th trek up the mountain.

As a workaround I got the buff and a new map. However still no word on when this will be fixed properly, just a sticky plaster (bandage for Americans).
Had the problem with snow goggles last night. Left the adv open and this morning received a new set of snow goggles in the mail. Thanks support.

We absolutely do plan on putting in a permanent fix, but it requires some time to QA test; like checking the rest of the MCC adventures. As soon as we're happy we'll give you a date. For now, just contact Support if you run into the issue as stated before. Thank you for your understanding in this matter guys!
Shame I did not read this first . . Oh well . Ticket in . Kettle on, :) Perhaps a small note on log in screen or something?

Not at all happy with the suggested solution from supportside.
I manage to complete Unknown Regions and Mountain Labyrinth and started on the The People Of The Mountain before realizing that the Snow Storm buff wasn’t supposed to be active…
So, the resolution of giving me a new Unknown Regions and a buff seems like an insult actually…
If I start over from Unknown Regions, I don’t have the elite troops left to finish the chain, and I wasted premtime and a lot of resources for the buffs, and the buffs for The People Of The Mountain is really expensive.
Very disappointed with this suggested solution actually…

Well, I tried to bypass this problem, and instead warm cloth, i go to village up on left side, and get a snow shoes. I already activate a googles and spikes. But, this buff is impossible to activate after several attempt. I write ticket to support, and receive googles buff. I write this just to mention that there is also problem with that other buff, in specific case.

I had my goggles vanish after they wouldn't apply in UR
When I refreshed they had vanished
I contacted support and they said there was no fix. I replied and they replied saying they closed my ticket...
I'm going to send a new ticket

They sent me goggles in mail. I used them in UR and it worked :)
Started Labyrinth and they still working :)

So in one go at unknown Regions I have needed clothing and got a new set from support, now goggles didn't work and I've lost em. Think I'll wait for a fix before continuing?
I have given up with support you mail them you respond you mail them back they close your ticket you redo the ticket quoting the previous one that they closed and same happens they reply you reply they close it saying your trying to reply to a closed ticket whats the point
They did close my ticket
But I sent a new one with a new subject line requesting the goggles and they did send me them and it worked
Try asking for what you need with a new subject line
