Hello,

As you all know, The Settlers Online is a strategy game that requires you to plan your actions to get the best results.

Does anyone know what event is coming and when this event will start ?

the standard events are:
easter - starts close to easter
summer football - summer (june)
halloween - mid october start
christmas - mid december start
these events have start dates announced close to their start times

all other mini events are not announced in advance

You're talking rubbish to ram home a non-valid point.

what difference does having the exact date have to do with planning?

do you mean plan your time to be at the event for work etc?

Or plan for the event with stuff you'll need for TO and adventures? If this is the case knowing the exact date means very little as you can still get all that done with an approx date...

You've been playing 5 years now if you can't plan for TSO events by now you'll never be able to.

Instead of focusing on event dates, start by planning your island infrastructure with long term goal in mind. 1) Set up productions so they can produce things on command should a quest require it, 2) have plenty of everything in storage so you can pay whatever's necessary without having to trade/produce the goods first. 3) Have fun. :)

plans never survive first contact with the enemy.
