Spooky Bronze mine cannot be placed

So I bought a Spooky Bronze mine today only to find out I cannot place it anywhere on my island at all. Anyone else run into this?

Nevermind I had to reload. I can place it now.

When the deposit runs empty you loose the mine as I understand it.
