Missing "Getting into the Christmas Spirit" adventure

Hi, I was already logged in this morning when the Christmas event started. I opened the first advent calendar window and received the "Getting into the Christmas Spirit" adventure which I started up. Before I could enter the adventure the game servers went down for maintenance. On getting back into the game the adventure was not active and was not back in my Star Menu either. I logged out for a few hours, hoping it might fix itself, but it has not reappeared. Any ideas how to get it back please?

Have you looked in your quest book?
Might need reactivating from there

have you checked if it is showing in questbook? if it is, just check the little box next to it to bring the adv box up on side of screen

No it's not in my Quest Book either. The only thing I can see is a Christmas event quest called "Finish the Gift Delivery" which is waiting for me to complete the adventure but no sign of the adventure itself anywhere :(
