On starting the download client all i'm getting is a black screen. It seems to me that the client is not downloading any of the UI's image files.

We have found this evening that the Settlers own browser will not load, Just is a Black Screen too.

I have this issue too. I only use the standalone client as i cant load through my browser. now this wont work either- very frustrating!

Seems to be the same on Steam too. Only background is showing: http://prntscr.com/r8x9ut

Hope they get it fixed soon.

The problem with Steam was resolved last Friday.

For the players using a slim browser, in case of problems, you can use a regulars browser while we work on a solution. Thank you for your understanding.

Same problem today. At lest with Steam clientversion. Same error as last time.

So undo whatever you did jsut did BB and do what you did last Friday. K thx plz.

Yup, Downloaded client is a black screen here too. The same thing happened about a week ago iirc, and then it started working again on a later day

And this is what is being suggested we should use when flash dies? Doesn't encourage confidence.

Game is unplayable for me. I use tso download version by default. In Chrome I'm getting same black screen. In firefox I'm getting constant white screens. What exactly browser/plugin do you use BB?

Same here, been unable to play for several days now. With firefox/adobe plugin I can usually log in before it crashes. Chrome doesn't work at all.
I raised a support ticket, was told it was fixed when it wasn't, and since have had zero reply.
Anyone got any browser/plugin combination that actually works reliably, or is the game just dead now and time to find something else?

it does indeed inspire confidense that BB obviously is working on improving the slim browser platform before we all have to switch to it ...

The white screening is an issue with an Firefox option "Hardware acceleration". There a tread here somewhere about it.

Lol, bit like they improved things with the recent maintenance and that messed up Mountain Clan? They have a history of fantastic ''working on it' chats and game just works with the errors they have made.
